About
Bentham Golf Course is situated in the Three Peaks area of North Yorkshire and has stunning scenery of Ingleborough and the surrounding hills. Often referred to as the 'Augusta of The Dales', Bentham Golf Course is a beautiful parkland course with tree lined fairways, multiple lakes and lush fairways. The course welcomes golfers of all abilities, offering an enjoyable round to less experience players and a challenge to those lower handicappers. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 10th that has you look down from an elevated tee to a tempting green which lies just on the other side of a stone walled pond.
The venue offers a great drink selection and some catering in the clubhouse which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a post-round drink and watch fellow golfers complete their round from the patio over looking the 18th. There is a pro shop on site too which is fully stocked with the latest brands and apparel, where custom club fitting is available. There is also a driving range and new practice chipping area under construction ready for the 2021 season. The course is home to Wenningdale Escapes who have on offer luxury glamping pod and lodge stays. These can be booked for a family holiday or for a golfing getaway.

Played here during the summer and really enjoyed it. The course was in good condition, and the staff were friendly. It’s a shorter course, but the holes are challenging and the layout is well thought out.

Fabulous course, spectacular scenery, excellent facilities for overnight vacations on site. Really dnjoyed our day there.

Great course, fantastic condition, excellent value for money.
Just a shame about the two 4-balls in front trying to play as an 8-ball and taking over 5 hours to play a round, without letting anyone through.
Amazing Course, Great Value
The course was fantastic. Even given the recent dry weather, it has held up far better than other courses I've played recently.
The greens were in excellent condition and the layout is great, with stunning views. And the value for money is excellent.
The only small problem were the 5 groups in front trying to play as a 6-ball and a 4 ball (acting like a 10-ball) taking 5 hours to play a round and not letting people through.

What a gem , a great course , in mint condition, nice people,
Great place to go.
It's a little out of the way but worth it when you arrive.
Great course to play and the views just out of this world, the whole team in the club house and those looking after the course just so friendly certainly, will be back in a few weeks.

Fabulous condition
I have been playing occasional rounds at Bentham for many years, the improvements have been steady but in recent years the work around the course has brought it up to a level were i would say it's the best quality golf course i have ever played. The fairways, the greens, the paths, the landscaping are of the very highest order & i have played some great courses home & abroad. Can't wait to come back again.
