1st time played here, tee off at 7.20 shame there was no one in the club house or cards left out also the greens where just tyned and sanded. Would definitely play here again next year

Second time I have played here and I enjoyed it both times, the layout is a bit quirky and helps if you know where you are going (course planner would be helpful as can’t always get mobile reception). Interesting holes though with dog legs so you have to think your way round. Unfortunately the greens had been dressed, I’d love to play them at their best in the summer as some great/ tricky undulations. Would definitely recommend to play, staff in the pro shop are very friendly.

Played course with husband and put with 2 other players we hadn't met before. The greens had just been dressed and hollow tined so we're not great to putt on. The course was a good test though and each hole was different. I would recommend the course to other players but was a little disappointed we hadn't checked on the state of the greens when we booked. I would imagine normally the greens would be in good condition. I will go back and play when the greens are at their best.

Don’t think I’ve played a course with such a friendly/helpful pro shop.

Played for the first time, will definitely be back again. Unfortunately the course was a bit soggy in places with all the rain of late but still a great course in beautiful surroundings. Great backdrop and setting a good level of challenge, great variety of holes. They’re changing the order of holes so the 12th is becoming the first, with the 11th now becoming the 18th. This was a little odd as you play 7 holes, go over the road and play the old front 9 then come back for 2 holes, but only a very minor thing, didn’t detract from the round

This golf course is a good test of golf with excellent holes all with different challenges and superb views of the Peak District hills all around

What a brilliant course. Don’t let just the 2 par fives fool you. A course that you can both open the shoulders with a driver in many a par four and each hole offering different challenges. The course was just in superb condition and a complete joy to play. One of the best I’ve played in the UK. Weather was glorious so not sure how it plays in the wet which in this area, no doubt it will see a shower...or two. Great experience and would play again for sure.

Due to COVID we started from tee12 which was unusual but didn’t detract from a great course. Loved it

A beautiful course in perfect condition. Lovely welcome from the clubhouse. Course is beautiful not not too challenging and I managed to shoot a really good score (for me). Starting off from the 12th (due to covid) worked out really well too. I have already rebooked and can't wait to play here again.

Love coming up here and playing this course. Even after a week of heavy rain the course was in perfect condition. A must for golfers of all abilities.
