Buffalo Creek Golf Club

About
Highly touted Buffalo Creek has been praised for its layout, condition, and overall attention to detail. No matter who you talk to in the DFW area, they all seem to praise the superb condition of the course from tee to green. Offering a 7,078-yard par 71 Jay Morrish/Tom Weiskopf design, Buffalo Creek offers a good combination of holes: straight holes, dogleggers, uphill and downhill shots, and both long and short holes.
One of the best features is the club’s method of using a pin location sheet to mark exactly where each pin is located on a particular day (up to six locations), which is unbelievably helpful to hacks who’ve never played the course before and have no feel for the look and contour of the greens.
Getting there : Take I-30 east from Dallas and exit Ridge Rd. Turn right and find the course 1.6 miles down on the left.

Fresh aeration too much for green fees
The greens were aerated in early june and it was impossible to putt.....with that, 100 bucks for green fees was way too much
Enjoyed
Like that all of the grounds including cart paths are maintained.
Course is fun to play
The course has undulating fairways and great open feel. The greens are well maintained but the traps could use some love. Not bad, but with a little care could be great.
Looking forward to playing here again.
Great track
Course was in excellent condition considering all of the rain Dallas has gotten over the last few weeks and considering it's hot enough outside to measure the temperature in Kelvin. It's about a 30 minute drive from my place out to this course, while there are closer courses, this one imo, is well worth the trip.
Great Condition!
Greens were in great shape, bunkers nice sand, fairways great condition. Good track
Amazing Course!
I frequently play at Buffalo Creek and have seen them transform over the years. With everything growing in Spring, the course has never been in better shape. I can't say enough about how great this course is. The staff is friendly, the course is challenging, and it isn't crazy expensive compared to other high quality courses in DFW.
Beautiful Layout
I really enjoyed playing this course. Period many the holes were beautiful grades were good condition. Fairways were in good condition. Good number of the holes were challenging. It was the best course I played all week A little pricier than the others, but it was definitely worth it.
Love Love Love this course!
One of the best layouts in DFW and in great condition.
Overpriced
Played the course Saturday for the first time in a long time. Had heard about course upgrades. Whatever upgrades had been made were tough to spot. The course has some nice holes and it was in ok condition considering we are just coming out of winter. But it is not a $100 course. It just isn’t. But they charge $100 because they can get $100. The greens were in poor condition but should improve as the weather gets warmer.
It has a nice range
As far as I could tell the chipping green and putting green are one and the same
Great value for this course
One of my favorite local courses. Great layout. tough in certain spots but scoreable. Friendliest cart girl in the world. The only thing i would change is not hitting off mats on range.
Good put pricey
Course up to the greens is in great shape, however the greens need a little work. They roll well but every hole has many replaced holes that haven’t been properly repaired so they disrupt putts. When I say many, I mean like 20+ and unfortunately they all seem to be relatively close to the current hole. Staff is friendly and food is good. Price for a round is almost double to comparable courses in the area. Green conditions don’t justify a $90 round.
