Crane Valley Golf Club - Valley Course

Great course to play very clean and tidy with a great club house and staff, course was in good condition but the greens had just been aerated so was hard to get a solid read on them other than that was lovely, pace of play was extremely slow though had a group of 3 ahead then a group of two and another group of three so was a slow Sunday. Altogether was a great experience would recommend to anyone to try the course and will be playing again.

I have played Crane since it opened 32? Odd years ago and it is still my favourite pay and play course.

It has plenty of room for big hitters or those who like to be friendly and spread the shots around adjoining fairways and get back in line relatively easily.

Golfers of all styles and abilities will enjoy it as we did last week particularly the last three holes and culminating in happy golfers getting par on the last green.

Green keepers have done a Stirling job after required maintenance the greens and fairways are excellent and challenging with the recent rain adding to the equation. Staff helpful and friendly and buggies available and fun to use! 19th hole allows us to intimidate those finishing as they are overlooked from the patio but the beer and cider is cold and the staff and food are warm and friendly. Lovely quiet location. Pro was very welcoming and informative. Fairly straightforward layout with

quite wide fairways. A few water hazards and greens in superb, quick condition. Nice clubhouse and catering was available until quite late.

Fantastic course. Par 3 holes are challenging. Great fun had. Wide fairways and very forgiving. Awesome round!!

Fantastic facilities lovely course.. greens are currently like lightening which didn’t help my game.. but if you are after a challenge then this is definitely the one for you.

Lovely bar and the staff were super friendly. Lad in the pro shop gave me a detailed description of the course as it was my first time there and the bar staff actually took the time to ask me if I enjoyed my round which I thought was a lovely touch. And the balcony is stunning!

Will definitely be back once my games improved

The grain on the greens a little difficult to read but course fairly dry overall. Possible to score well for those hitting the fairways regularly

The greens were fine, but the fairways were barely playable! I have played there before and it's always been good. Just unlucky with the weather.

£32 for a buggy which is ridiculous! I have rented buggies nearly half the price with GPS on and a lot more to offer. Pace of play was so slow as it was too busy and no one to marshall it, didnt manage to get the full 18 in and was playing for nearly 5 hours.

Course is good, greens very patchy and bumpy but still run but needs work on.

got a "hot deal" from golf now which gave us a excellent value for money round of golf mid week. The course was in good condition and the greens were very good considering the previous 2 days downpour we had. Nice variety of holes with plenty of fairway to play with, not too hilly so the 6,000 yds + was not to tiring.

all in all we will be back again with the next "hot deal".

Played on the 18 hole course early October and it was a very good experience. The fairways are well maintained and the green are smooth. I also liked the club house.

The traffic was horrendous roadworks all over the place which contributed to my missing my tee off time so I did not play.
