We were double booked at 1230 which wasnt a good start, so play was v v slow. The course was in a poor state, greens were dreadful , tees were lojg, dunkers untidy. This course was a mess, everywhere . Embarrassed to have booked it, and wont be going again

First of all the COVID-19 precautions were excellent.

After playing this course in 2014 on a monthly basis with our Society we then thought that off the fairways the undergrowth was excessively long, however this was now maintained to a much improved standard.

Also last year 2019 the greens were in poor condition due to the previous years hot summer, again these were much improved.

First time playing this course with 2 groups of 3. Course was in good condition following a few days of rain and noting the course plays up and down some hills. Very little if any standing water around considering.

This is a proper ‘thinking’ course that will test most clubs in the bag off the tee rather than just the driver! the changes in elevation provide a a good test add some lovely blind downhillers.

Only criticism was the slow greens, perhaps missing a few cuts due to the 3 days rain prior.. but the length of grass on them seemed more like a tightly cut fairway than what most would be used to on a green. That said would still recommend this course and would be keen to return to play it again with that extra bit of knowledge! Overall worth the visit and certainly value for money.

Despite 12 hours of heavy rain the course was in remarkable condition. Plenty of grass on the fairways and no areas of standing water. The greens were slow but easy to read and putts rolled as intended.

Really enjoyed the game.

Had a great 4 ball game here. Just greens bit fluffy slow an no beer other than this great condition very recommended to anyone new or experienced golfers

Well laid out and in good condition barring a couple of spots. Some difficult holes with narrow tee offs and interesting hazards. Lost a few balls but really enjoyed this course.

Greens was nice a bit slow tho tee off area need improving ... worth the money would play again ...

Very samey, not really a difficult course. Deffo requires some TLC on fairways and greens & wasn’t made aware of 4 unplayable holes either until at the course having already payed.

So booked to play the day before around 3 o’clock .. turning up to play to fined the course was closed !!! I had no notification that was closed son not only did a lose my money but waisted 45 minutes to get there. First time using the app and very disappointed

Booked a hot deal for 2, upon arrival staff very helpful and friendly, allowed to tee off early.

1st time playing and have say the experience was superb, challenging tight fairways with plenty of variety, greens in good order.

Seriously considering joining, which says it all really.....

Arrived at the clubhouse to find out we were double booked because the computer doesn't sync so told we should have rang the course to make sure of availability, don't offer online booking unless you are going to do it properly. The course was in poor condition very little grass on the tees, the greens were poor many holes and bare patches, worst I've played in a long time, the fairways were on great condition apart from being covered in grass cuttings. I played this course 3 years ago and it was in fantastic condition what has happened in a short space of time?

Not played this course in over 10 years and although it has matured nicely, with some well established trees and tight fairways the greens , fairways and bunkers are a mess.

There were grass cuttings all over the fairways, bare patches and flowering daisies on numerous greens, which added a new aspect to reading the line of the putt.

Although quite short this course has such potential and it’s a shame to see it in this state.

Maybe with a little TLC this course could be good again, fingers crossed.

Nice course with lots of trees however greens heavily sanded and dressed.

Would definitely play here again once greens are back to their best.

This is a course we had neither heard of or come across before, we played it as a 4 ball whilst the pace of play was good and the course was well laid out with some nice individual holes it was a reasonable course for all levels. It played a little shorter than what we assume would be normal due to some temporary greens and shorter tee positions, due to time of year fairways and some greens were not at their best needs some work.
