No course arrrows / with next hole no onm if youare playing this for first ti.e its confusing

This course is one of the nearest to me and is known for being up and down condition-wise. This time it was probably in the best condition I’ve seen it for years, although even that means that some greens are ropey and it’s still a bit untidy. But this course in this condition is a absolutely superb value for £15. It has a range of tricky holes with tight greens and well placed trees and bunkers. Holes 8, 9 and 11 would challenge most golfers. I like the way on at least five holes there is one tree which can block out your whole approach to the green if you don’t position your ball perfectly. I will certainly play this course again in this condition. If it had the funding and protection from the local idiots who sometimes get on the course and damage it, this could be a top top course. At £15 I don’t think anyone can argue that it’s well worth a visit.

Course is in perfect condition. Brilliant fairways with room if you make a mistake. Price is Brilliant for this course. Only problem i have was I booked for 2 of us and there booked someone else on with us when I choose just 2 people as we like to go round just us. Also no way of booking a buggy. But amazing course and enjoyed it.

Best municipal i have ever played, read some reviews before hand, wasn't expecting much, pleasantly suprised, busy, stuck behind a four ball for a while, ended up playing with another single golfer a member of club, who was very friendly, gave me great advice for a first timer, short course but heavily tree lined, some short doglegs leaving a longer shot to greens, fairways actually have grass, not burnt off, improvement on some more expensive courses recently visited, greens running slow, could do with a cut, but very receptive, not like your average muni concrete greens, definitely be back when in the area.

Played for first time today really enjoyed the course. Couldn't go in the club house or pro shop due to the covid virus so can't comment. Would definitely play again.

course played very well, apart from the slow play 4 x lady member were 4 holes behind and would not other flights play through, but otherwise it was ok

We were double booked at 1230 which wasnt a good start, so play was v v slow. The course was in a poor state, greens were dreadful , tees were lojg, dunkers untidy. This course was a mess, everywhere . Embarrassed to have booked it, and wont be going again

First of all the COVID-19 precautions were excellent.

After playing this course in 2014 on a monthly basis with our Society we then thought that off the fairways the undergrowth was excessively long, however this was now maintained to a much improved standard.

Also last year 2019 the greens were in poor condition due to the previous years hot summer, again these were much improved.

First time playing this course with 2 groups of 3. Course was in good condition following a few days of rain and noting the course plays up and down some hills. Very little if any standing water around considering.

This is a proper ‘thinking’ course that will test most clubs in the bag off the tee rather than just the driver! the changes in elevation provide a a good test add some lovely blind downhillers.

Only criticism was the slow greens, perhaps missing a few cuts due to the 3 days rain prior.. but the length of grass on them seemed more like a tightly cut fairway than what most would be used to on a green. That said would still recommend this course and would be keen to return to play it again with that extra bit of knowledge! Overall worth the visit and certainly value for money.

Despite 12 hours of heavy rain the course was in remarkable condition. Plenty of grass on the fairways and no areas of standing water. The greens were slow but easy to read and putts rolled as intended.

Really enjoyed the game.

Had a great 4 ball game here. Just greens bit fluffy slow an no beer other than this great condition very recommended to anyone new or experienced golfers

Well laid out and in good condition barring a couple of spots. Some difficult holes with narrow tee offs and interesting hazards. Lost a few balls but really enjoyed this course.
