We will be back
Great value for money, quite a few bunkers require weeding and more sand. The majority of T box are like a dust bowl and require another of maintenance. Fairways really good. 1 or 2 greens need attention but the majority are superb and true.Pace of play was great fairly empty 3 hours to complete the round.
Excellent Course
A great course hidden away from the road. We'll kept, lovely greens and a variety of holes.

Great course
Greens and fairways are in great condition at the moment .credit to the ground staff.Bunkers on the back 9 could do with more sand as many are marked as Gur. Other than that a good course .
A little rough around the edges but you can’t expect much more for a tenner.
For practice it’s better than spending a tenner on a range and is a nice walk.

Paid £18 and can’t grumble at that.
Need to review tee time setup
2nd round in a row that the hold up has been ridiculous, 2-3 groups on a tee box waiting!
If you are going to have OAP/ women 4 balls out you need to review the tee times!
Enjoyable round, great layout, greens a bit slow
Enjoyed 11 holes after work. Very friendly welcome and layout is very good / forgiving. Tees boxes are scruffy and the greens slow but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Great value
Really nice condition but the greens were just way too slow, but course from tee to green was really good
The course needs maintaining better
The layout of the course is very good with some great, challenging holes but needs better maintaining. For example tee boxes grass length, it’s like teeing off out of rough. Some of the trees need trimming back a little. On one hole a tree was hanging half way over the fairway. Greens also needed a cut. I’ve played the course many times before but first time this year, come off disappointed for first time. Will give it another go in a few weeks as Maybe I just got it on a bad day
Shame it was a bit tatty
Really great value for money course that is let down by an apparent lack of investment !
Tee boxes were unkempt which was a shame as the greens and fairways (even if the grass was a little long ) were really good - the bunkers should all be GUR as well.
Would love to go back once Doncaster Council have splashed the cash on it !
Return after 25 years
I was presently surprised. Greens in good condition and drainage clearly improved lost a couple of balls in the rough but enjoyed my round despite that. Nice pint of Guinness at the 19th.
Always enjoy playing Cookridge visit a dozen times a year and course is always first class
