Deane Golf Club

First time playing here in over 10 years, course in good condition, greens were 50/50 but we have just come out of the winter months, enjoyed the round as a 4ball but all the amenities closed after the round on a bank holiday. Overall nice course and will play again.

Paid £17 for Tuesday afternoon. 2nd time I’ve played here and maybe the last. Alls I can say is if I was a member here I would be furious. The greens are so bad and there is hardly any sand in most of the bunkers. There are a couple of holes here that you would not see anywhere else….. Not great

have already sent an email regarding this , with only 12 holes open I can only describe it as disappointing, I would have booked Blackburn golf club if I would have known as that course was fully open

I did try ringing Deane mid morning several times to see if any restrictions regarding Trollies etc but no answer from pro shop or clubhouse !!

My first time playing here.. It’s a great course that has done tricky holes. . Met the chairman on the way round and h me was a lovely guy. I liked it so much I’ve decided to join.

Brilliant little course, conditions really good considering time of year. Only 10 holes were open though so was able to play them both twice so ended up playing 20 holes… really enjoyed it.

Only 1 par five but some challenging holes played here 3 times now and I recommend it

I should have read the reviews on here before I played, I underestimated the course and must have lost a personal record of golf balls. This Quirky course is lovely, just something about it, some very unusual and challenging holes too. The next time I play, I certainly won't be using my driver or 3 wood off the tea on the par 4's etc, this course is a very techinical course and you must use your irons off thr tea if you're a bit erratic like me!

Anyway, fantastic value for money and I am booking another round next week, highly recommended course!

I would recommend this course as it's a cracking course tuff but fair and in good knick. The only issue we had was the bar was shut when we finished so we couldn't have a beer after.

Defo get yourselves down here and enjoy a good course

I tried to swap day of play from yesterday to today the course was no help at all they told me to contact Golf Now which I did. I sent an email requesting a change of date explained that I had made a mistake with the original booking. Only got an email back after the tee time saying mail undelivered. Not happy about losing £50, it is not easy getting in touch with Golf Now

Excellent course fairways and greens really good very tricky course with some cracking par 3s enjoyed it very much excellent value for money shame about weather drizzle on & off all day but hey that’s Britain will definitely be back

Interesting layout in excellent condition, a good variety of holes including great par 3's
