Deane Golf Club

It rained hard for 2 days prior to playing and considering this the course was fab.

The lower part of the course was wetter and was a struggle at times but we know what we were getting ourselves into 😂

Greens were pure with no qualms as were the tee boxes, again no complaints.

Gutted the food was finished by 14:30 because we were starving after a tough round but it is what it is.

Overall very good for the weather we had prior.

arrived to a warm welcome from the pro shop staff then continued to the first tee. the course was in good condition and pace of play was very good.cannot be doing with five hour rounds.everything was very good good and would recommend.

Rocked up early and was allowed to go straight out. Never caught up with anybody in front - millionaire's golf.

The greens were superb. The course was well varied and interesting. The dog-leg par 5 - now that's what I call a dog-leg. Yes, If I lived closer I would play this course regularly.

I have always enjoyed playing Deane, the course is excellently maintained and challenging without being too onerous for the average golfer.

First time playing here in over 10 years, course in good condition, greens were 50/50 but we have just come out of the winter months, enjoyed the round as a 4ball but all the amenities closed after the round on a bank holiday. Overall nice course and will play again.

Paid £17 for Tuesday afternoon. 2nd time I’ve played here and maybe the last. Alls I can say is if I was a member here I would be furious. The greens are so bad and there is hardly any sand in most of the bunkers. There are a couple of holes here that you would not see anywhere else….. Not great

have already sent an email regarding this , with only 12 holes open I can only describe it as disappointing, I would have booked Blackburn golf club if I would have known as that course was fully open

I did try ringing Deane mid morning several times to see if any restrictions regarding Trollies etc but no answer from pro shop or clubhouse !!

My first time playing here.. It’s a great course that has done tricky holes. . Met the chairman on the way round and h me was a lovely guy. I liked it so much I’ve decided to join.

Brilliant little course, conditions really good considering time of year. Only 10 holes were open though so was able to play them both twice so ended up playing 20 holes… really enjoyed it.

Only 1 par five but some challenging holes played here 3 times now and I recommend it
