Great golf course
Played round of golf at Deane, well layed out course, superb greens and fairways for this time of the year, will definitely play again before the end of October.
Don't waste your time
I feel as though the title sums up the course. Possibly the most tedious 4 hours of my life and probably the second worse course I've played in 10 years of golf. How in summer the fairways run faster than the greens is beyond me, the green keepers should be embarrassed. Not only this, but you have to carry your own rake around the full course in case you end up in the builders sand; or as they call it, the bunker..

Played this course for first time in a while, it certainly looked as though money had been spent it had a clean look about it was in immaculate condition , hopefully will play it again soon
A great mornings golf.
Deane never ceases to please. It is an excellent, well maintained and challenging course and I would recommend it to any fellow golfer as worth a visit.
Great little course!
I’ve played here now about 6 times, never well though! It’s a tight course with some lovely interesting holes. You can’t over power this course. It’s was in very good condition when I played. I’ll play it again before winter hits. Well worth a visit if not to much rain has been coming down. A few holes are notorious for getting water logged. Recommend all abilities to play here.
Very interesting course
Given that the weather has been appalling Deanne GC was in excellent condition. Full course all greens open. Newly refurbished clubhouse almost complete. Very friendly staff and members. Although short a great challenge.

2nd time I've played this course absolutely loved it great course great condition.
We played on Presidents' Day and as visitors got offered a free drink on the 9th. Very friendly and I've decided to move to this course. Excellent
Interesting test - Deane Park
Nice course, very well kept if a little tight at times. Greens and fairways in fantastic condition, well recommended. Could do with better signage on tee boxes so it is clearer to first time players which hole they are on.
Great little course
This course isn't for the big hitters but more about accuracy. It's got some great holes to work a lot of different shots. It was in great condition when i played. Greens maybe on the slow side but I do think there normally a little bit quicker. Was fairly quiet when I played so that was a bonus to take out time.
Deane Golf Club - a pleasure
Played on 1 June in fine weather. Deane is a challenging course but extremely well maintained - they even trim the grass in the deep gullies - doesn't make find your wayward ball any easier but it's a nice touch. The third hole can be deceptive to the first time player - fairway and green more or less at the same level but there is a 20ft deep ravine just in front of the green. All in all a very good experience and a great game of golf. Staff and members very friendly.
My favourite local course. A must if never played
Really can't beat the conditions of this course anyway in the area. Very near Championship quality greens and a few challenging holes. Love the picturesque par 3 6th!
Enjoyable Experience
Played the course for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course condition was excellent, particularly the greens. The off-course experience was also very welcoming, both in the pro shop and from the members we encountered.
Course is in great condition
It's probably 10 years since I last played at Deane and was pleasantly surprised. The greens were the best I had played on this year so far and will certainly not leave it as long next time.
The only negative was a group of ladies that refused to let me through for 9 holes, they may have been in a comp or something so will give them the benefit of the doubt.

This course is the best in Bolton by an absolute mile.
The greens are a credit to the green staff
This course has great features
Good course but teeofftimes are a joke. Unless getting the hot deal just book direct it will be cheaper.

You should be ashamed of the comments you made about this course just played a great round of golf in February 2019 and both greens and fairways are in excellent condition, the staff, members and green keepers should be proud of their course
