Good course with confusing tee boxes!

Nice playable course with a good variety of holes. Bunkers need some work. Tee boxes makers confusing. With some small improvements this course could be excellent. Nice pro shop with informative staff.

Dinsdale

The game cost us £20 each so the value for money is excellent. course in fantastic condition except you had to guess a bit what colour tees were which but overall as value for money it is brilliant

Good course

Greens had just had work done so not at its best. But this was reflected up front and in cheaper price. Layout of course is good. Mix of interesting holes and a good fair challenge.

Course in terrible condition

I have played Dinsdale many times over the years with family that are/were members and friends and I’ve never seen the course in such poor condition. Rough is like they expect you to be playing a US Open. The greens are in terrible condition over grown and over seeded. Trying to hit a putt and the ball bobbles and jumps in any direction zero chance of hitting a decent putt. This is even the same on the practice facilities. Club feels more like a poor municipal than a once highly valued members course.

Unfortunately this will be my last time attending Dinsdale.

Members and guests walking around the course complaining about the condition and stating it’s not surprising it’s not got any members left. Way over priced even on Golf Now not worth £25

Spring / summer

Great course vey challenging tho attention to detail needs to be looked at/ invested in .Watering the course at 12/1 needs to be done earlier steps to tee boxers need replacing still playing off a winter tee mat in mid may on a hole 8 . Staff are very friendly always wanting to help .Changing rooms need an overhaul quickly Bars great tho missing a profit with the 8th should have a bar runner on and order your food / sandwich on the 6th tee . Collect on the 8th before the back 10 . Overall 8/10

Underwhelmed

Played this place a few times and was impressed. Today however… pro shop closed as short staffed. Unable to buy balls or a drink. Course itself was fair but the place itself looked a little weathered and neglected. Maybe they’re getting prepared for the summer. Sadly won’t be rushing back.

Great course

1st time playing this course but still a bit early in the season for me. The course itself is great & value for money but turned up with my push trolley and was told it was winter wheels so had to hire an electric trolley when l asked about this l was told because l booked through Golfnow they should have this information about the winter wheels in there info. ( Not so ) but other than that a great day out.

Dinsdale G.C

Very muddy conditions but expected time of year.

Poor quality tee matts unable to put a tee in the matt and put a ball on it.

Before setting up trolley a staff member approached us in car park rather unpleasant asking if we booked even before entering pro shop.

Excellent condition of greens.

Overall we had a good game and enjoyed it.

Free Saturday

Playing in January and not expecting the course to be that good, was pleasantly surprised with the great conditions of the fairways and green’s. With the only downside being the Tee’s being all mats and tgd holes not really taking tees.

Not a winter golf course.

Winter tees which are fine but no mention of winter greens only on arrival. Fairways not well maintained branches from trees all over the course. Only winter trolleys allowed on course which are expensive to rent. Probably a nice course to play in summer. Great driving range.

Winter trolleys

Only winter trolleys allowed on course but only told when arrived at course so had to carry even though conditions were good. Winter trolley rental too expensive.

Sunday knock

Great course played a few times new facilities is the driving range and new pro shop fantastic, also the restyled clubhouse is great and nice to be in. Greens were slow but we knew this as the green maintenance had been done and we were notified on the app. The price was fair and we will be back. Thanks

A Good Course Spoilt

This once good course has been destroyed with the brutal rough all over the course, even in the middle of some fairways like the 1st. Greens were very poor as greens maintenance was in progress. The course was a fair test on the old arrangement so no idea why they have added so much rough. Get the feeling it is trying to be something it isn’t. It’s a real shame what has happened to this course.

Let down by a few people

Arrived at course very welcoming and helpful staff, course was good challenging

Shane there was some work happening on the greens but the £20 green fee softened the blow on this

Certain members we encountered were odd , unwelcoming ,

discourteous and condescending I could go on but I’ll just leave it there , thankfully like they seemed to decide to

Shame cus if had the type of members I’ve come across in most clubs I’ve been to in the north east it would be too notch
