Excellent condition. Not the most challenging course. Easy walking, friendly members.

Very flat, not many interesting holes at all, quite straight.

Went into pro shop and staff just ignored me as I stood there, waited 10 mins and made eye contact several times from a distance.... nothing... just walked out and played my round.

Only good thing is availability of tee times.

For this price, there are so many in Doncaster better value for money. Even the cheaper courses like Thornhurst are very better looked after and more interesting to play.

Wasn’t expecting much after the 5 min walk to the course from the club house but actually I was presently surprised. Good layout, greens in great condition. Interesting holes. Would certainly recommend and will be playing again

Played this course a few times and have never been disappointed. Not the longest but still very challenging, specially with the long par 3’s which challenge even the low handicapers. My only fault with this today was the greens, they have been hollowcored recently so still repairing. Overall fantastic little course and will definitely be returning.

PLAYED THIS COURSE ON THE LAST DAY BEFORE LOCKDOWN WAS IN SUPERB CONDITION EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER SO CALLED NEARBY MORE EXPENSIVE COURSES WERE WATERLOGGED SUPERB VALUE FOR ONLY £20 I COULD EVEN USE MY TROLLEY THE COURSE WAS BONE DRY ,I ALSO MET THE CAPTAIN SEAN WHO WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE ME FEEL MOST WELCOME ,THERE NEW PROFESSIONAL KARL AND HIS ASSISTANTS WERE ALSO VERY IMFORMATIVE AND WELCOMING IN A VERY GENUINE WAY THEY ALSO TOLD US THAT MEMBERSHIP AND TUITION WAS AVAILABLE ,THIS COURSE IS A HIDDEN GEM I HAVE DRIVEN BY IT FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS DID NOT KNOW IT EXISTED ,ALSO MET RICHARD THE HEAD GREENKEEPER WHO WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TOLD US ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE CLUB ,NEXT TIME I PLAY AGAIN WITH OUR SOCIETY THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT WHERE I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE EVERYBODY GREAT COURSE ESPECIALLY IN WINTER FANTASTIC AND ATTENTIVE STAFF ALWAYS MAIN GREENS AND SUPERB VALUE WITH FRIENDLY MEMBERS WHO MSKE YOU FEEL VERY WELCOME.

THIS GOLF COURSE IS FANTASTIC VALUE AND DRAINS SUPERBLY THE CATERERS WERE REALY FRIENDLY THE NEW PROFESSIONAL WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND MADE SURE WE HAD OUR GREEN FEE TICKETS THE ONLY DISSAPOINTMENT WAS THAT THE GREENS WERE NOT UP TO THERE NORMAL HIGH STANDARD THE MEMBERS THAT WE WERE FOLLOWING WERE FRIENDLY AND HAD QUITE A BIT OF BANTER THE CLUB ALSO LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN GIVEN A GOOD PAINT OVERSLL GREAT VALUE AT ONLY £17 LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING THIS COURSE AGAIN IN THE SUMMER ,WILL ALSO BE BRINGING MY YOUNG SON HERE FOR SOME LESSONS NICE TO SEE A PROFESSIONAL WHO IS KEEN WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE.

PLAYED THIS COURSE FOR THE 1ST TIME THE COURSE WAS IN SUPERB CONDITION GIVEN THE TIME OF THE YEAR FANTASTIC VALUE AT £17 ESPECIALLY AS ALL THE OTHER COURSES WERE CLOSED IN THE AREA WERE CLOSED SHAME THE PRO SHOP WAS BEING REVAMPED BUT THE NEW PROFESSIONAL WAS VERY POLITE COURTEOUS AND WELCOMING HE REALY MADE A EFFORT TO MAKE US FEEL WELCOME AND EXPLAINED WHERE THE 1ST TEE WAS LOCATED THIS COURSE IS A HIDDEN GEM THE CLIUBHOISE WAS ALSO MUCH MORE WELCOMING THAN THE EXTERIOR ALL IN ALL A REAL BARGAIN AT £17 CANT WAIT TO PLAY THE COURSE AGAIN THE MEMBERS WERE ALSO. VERY WELCOMING LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVING A PINT AND SOME FOOD NEXT TIME WE COME.

No overview of hole layout either at the tee box or on the scorecard. This means makes it difficult to know what line to hit or where hazards are.

Yardage on some of the holes seams to be out and may need reviewing to give players best chance of correct club selection.

Greens were generally in good condition, open fairways and lots of forgiveness for inaccurate shots.

In good condition for time of year , friendly welcome good mixture of holes always a pleasure to play
