The land that now provides a home to Quarry Golf Course was formerly the abandoned Alamo Cement plant. Keith Foster converted this unique location into a challenging layout with a links-style front nine and a back nine that plays entirely through an abandoned rock quarry with walls over a 100 feet tall on three sides. The first half of the golf course features plays through open fields of rolling hills with native grasses and a near absence of trees. Creeks and streams come into play on six holes of the front nine. The quarry pit on the back nine is truly the most unique feature on the golf course. Quarry Golf Course's most dramatic hole is the 17th, which requires a tee shot over a deep ravine that is framed by a 40-foot waterfall.

First time playing this course and from the minute getting there till the time I left staff was amazing and so helpful and friendly. Got paired up with a couple of members which was very helpful from not knowing all the hazards. Course conditions were great. Started on #10 and the view and scenery of this 9 is so amazing. The course is beautiful zero complaints had a great time and will most definitely be back.

Great day out

The course is very well maintained. I am a 10 handicap and felt tremendous challenge on this course. The tee box options from whites to blues to golds to the tips (blacks).

Unfortunately found myself in a few bunkers while playing my round, but wow the bunker sand quality is incredible. If you haven’t played this course pay for it, it’s well worth it.

SECURITY!!!

While the course was in fine shape our displeasure came at the end of our round. When we returned to the club house and went to our truck we noticed that the truck had been broken into front window shattered and my pistol was stolen along with other items. The truck was parked right in front of the main entrance. When I went inside the club house there was no manger there to speak and the employees were no help one even saying “Again” when I said our car was broken into. They would not show use any security footage even though it appeared there was a camera pointed right at my truck they wouldn’t even call the police for us. I will not be returning to The Quarry and I don’t recommend anyone else going there either.
