The land that now provides a home to Quarry Golf Course was formerly the abandoned Alamo Cement plant. Keith Foster converted this unique location into a challenging layout with a links-style front nine and a back nine that plays entirely through an abandoned rock quarry with walls over a 100 feet tall on three sides. The first half of the golf course features plays through open fields of rolling hills with native grasses and a near absence of trees. Creeks and streams come into play on six holes of the front nine. The quarry pit on the back nine is truly the most unique feature on the golf course. Quarry Golf Course's most dramatic hole is the 17th, which requires a tee shot over a deep ravine that is framed by a 40-foot waterfall.

Corona Golf
Course was in great shape considering the situation. We had early tee time and had to walk the course. It was much more enjoyable walking. Definitely wouldn't walk in the afternoon. Too Hot on the back nine. Keep you ball in play. The second cut rough is thick and very difficult to find your wayward shot.

Awesome condition
what a course. Keep it in the fairway or you are toast. 2nd rough is like Amazon jungle. Bring plenty of balls if hitting it straight is not something you are prone to do. Can't wait to play again.

Breathtaking course
Phenomenal course. Front 9 takes you along the highway and you can see the skyline and other cool buildings of SA. Back 9 was challenging but had amazing views in the quarry.
If you go to SA this course is a must play.

Great layout
We were on an escape the cold weekend. Had played The Quarry a few years ago and was not disappointed.
Teed off at 7:50 and finished by 11:30. Course is two different nines, with the last nine cut out of a Quarry.
Even the wives commented on how the course looked, when they picked us up after the round.

The quarry is a great course. The front nine is nice but the back is down in a quarry. Hole back nine is visible from 19th hole and the view is memorable. Superb value. Highly recommended
