SilverHorn Golf Club of Texas
About
Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas, located only 15 minutes from San Antonio's Riverwalk, has quickly gained a reputation as being some of the best golf in Texas. The layout covers 262 scenic acres of rolling hills covered in mature oaks and cedar trees. The challenging golf course features tree-lined fairways and carefully contoured greens. There are also lakes and creeks, both dry and wet, coming into play throughout the golf course. The front nine's signature hole is the par-5 sixth, which has 20 acres of water bordering the entire left side, while the back nine's signature is the par-4 15th, which is considered the toughest hole on the golf course. This 446-yard hole features an elevated green that is guarded by a large bunker on the left and two creeks crossing the fairway.

Bunkers
Love playing Silverhorn Course...narrow fairway and trees left and right threw out the course so leave the driver in the bags lol. Only problem is sand traps need big time work and nobody never rakes them after going in..only take a few seconds to rake!!!! Still Great Course to Play!!!!!

Beware of Fivesomes
Don’t know if the course allows it but we got stuck between two groups of 5 (one group on the front nine and one group on the back 9). Our solution was to. Leapfrog the groups which mean’t playing only 16 holes which was okay since we just wanted to go out and have a fun day on the course.
Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing SilverHorn Golf Club of Texas. We hope to see you again soon.
