Dudley golf course

On arriving at the course I could not believe how badly Covid rules were being broken the pro shop selling beer & the amount of people standing around drinking I’m a member of a golf course & we are made aware of wot rules are in place it was truly shocking . On the course it’s self I walked off after 16 holes due to the 4hrs it had taken to reach this point I will not be making any more trips to Dudley golf course

First Time Visit

Visit during this pandemic but the course condition is good and great view and valuable comparing to its price. The problem is it is not easy to recognize next holes sometimes as tee boxes for two holes are near and confusing.

Except that, it is really good to have experience of uphills and down hills and long Par3

Foggy

First time playing there with very thick fog so plenty of blind tee shots and lost balls. A couple of confusing tees but friendly members always keen to help out

Duddley golf course

Enjoy it very much, a bit slow to start with but soon picked up. Although weather not very good it is a good test of your golf and excellent value for money.

Scenic views

First time playing here, friendly people. Strange course layout, but pretty good condition. Lots of blind shots from elevated tees, so struggled a bit with club selection. No need to use driver on any hole. Only gripe was on the back nine, caught up with a 4 ball. Did offer to let me play through but only had a few holes to go. Greens had been sanded, so a bit unpredictable. Great scenery, will try again now I've played here.

On the top of the world

On arrival car parking was amicable, check in swift and easy, score cards with map were a good touch.

The 1st tee was a long downhill with nice green grass well maintained,

2nd was uphill there were a few hills throughout the day,

Nice views once ontop, then the rain drove in, but all in all a good day's golf,

The bar had a good selection of drinks, again friendly staff.

I returned after playing here a while ago, and must say it has improved, keep up the good work.

Covid issues

I normally play on a largely flat course so this was a real challenge as it’s up and downhill with blind shots. Quite a short course so opportunities to catch back lost shots on the par 4&5s. It’s more of a field course than a purpose built and well maintained course. The clubhouse has a bar and changing rooms with showers although due to covid, restrictions applied. No driving range or net, only a small putting green so it took me a few holes to warm up.
