Lovely course, great value

The course is lovely.

It is set in rolling countryside and is never tough to walk around. Holes provide a good challenge at any level.

Fairways are often wide and forgiving, and roughs are usually still playable.

We really enjoyed playing here

Both times we've played the facilities for drinking seem to have been closed

Great course

Im a high handicapper, this was a good, challenging, well kept course, suprisingly tucked away down langley ind est.

100% i will play here again, very enjoyable, friendly staff, nice views, a good selection of par 3s through to 5s, the course was in excellent condition, a few bunkers waterlogged.

Great course.

Really enjoyable round on a very interesting and well kept course. Only slight negative was an incredibly slow fourball in front of us (a pair) slowing us down and not letting us play through. Not the course’s fault though. Will definitely be back

Excellent Course - A hidden gem

I played at Durham City GC with my son. We were greeted warmly into the club shop. We would have liked to have had some lunch before the round but sadly they didn't not have this as an option on Monday's. (The only reason for a good rating). However, a recommendation to a local cafe was perfect. We then went on to have a great round on a lovely, well kept course. We had a drink in the bar afterwards, which was great with superb views of the course. Would definitely play here again.

Fantastic experience

I hadn't played here in about 15 years and I'd always thought of it as a good course. I was wrong, it's outstanding. The layout is such that even though I drove the ball well there are several holes where unless you are on the correct side of the fairway some of the greens, never mind the flags, are hard to get at. The whole course was in great nick and I can't see how the greens could be any better even so early in the season. About the greens. There is not one where you have a straightforward putt, often with more than one break. As for the 2nd, it's almost (for me completely) unplayable. I putted off the green.....twice. Fun though.

An all round great experience and we'll be returning again this year. Thanks to all involved in presenting such a great club and course.

Superb course but took some finding as Sat Nov sent us on least distance, but was really convoluted!.

Fantastic course, well laid out and immaculate large greens, but not easy to read and Masters fast

Very poor set up around course

When you play this course it is so hard to navigate to the next hole due to no post or sign pointing you to the next hole , once you think you are on the correct hole and check the course map on the tee box all the numbers have been taped up again making it so confusing if you are on the correct tee box .

After so many holes you realise that you score card from the club does not match up due tee box has been removed this was not discussed to us when signing in at the golf shop.

For £50 a round very poor set up and I have emailed the course and all I have getting is an apology.

I’ve herd loads a good information on this course and yes the greens are nice but with the issue they have chipping area you can not use , the driving / iron nets poor quality and rumble all around and the other things what we found at this course I would not recommend this
