Canyon Springs Golf Club

Play was quick for my wife and myself, but constant interruptions by course maintenance folks, along with the aerated greens, made it a little more frustrating than normal. Were being "pushed" a bit from a threesome behind us that should have been delayed more at the start. They hit into us twice, and they had no regard for the play of others.

The golf course totally oversold all of the tee times and still allowed multiple groups to play through on a practice for a tournament. We teed off one hour late and it took three hours to cover the first nine. Thoroughly disappointed. I like the course - but will never play there again. I will recommend to everyone I come in contact with; that they should be aware of how the course is run and consider playing somewhere else.

Stay out of the heather and you will have a shot to post a good number. Greens are firming up from the Summer heat so you may want to club down half a club.

Every hole has a different challenge, pace of play is above average.

Wow! Canyon Springs Golf Club is one of the best maintained courses in all of San Antonio. I love to play this course as I always know the course will be in good shape. Also the staff is very friendly and informative of course conditions and things we should be aware of before we tee off. Also I loved how the staff helped me get my GPS working on my cart. He told me it should work now and if not hit any where on the screen and it should be good to go. He was right. GPS worked all 18 holes. I would tell others who have not played this course to do so. You will enjoy your round not matter score you shoot. But this course is one you can usually score well on. As I have the last two rounds I have played here with rounds of 82 and 81. I will definitely return to this course. LOVE IT!

P.S. Pace of played was lower due to the fact as I played as a single but other times the pace of play is still under five hours even when I played with a foursome. This courses pace of play is never an issue when I have played here.

Long course from the tips with several blind tee shots. Fairways were perfectly cut & plush. Had some sanded greens at the time but they still rolled pretty true.

We had a great time playing this course. All of the staff was super friendly. They were able to work with us to squeeze an extra player in. Course was in great shape!

It was a great course in great condition. But I found out that the price at the course was the same price on golf now, so there really wasn't much of a deal.

Dont know why they allow 5somes hear you would expect that at a goatranch wont play again 3rd time behind a fivesome and marshalls dont care

A real gem of a golf course....a great golf experience.....wonderfully maintained....our group will play at Canyon Springs again, as soon as possible.

Course had taken on record rains 2 days before we played and it was it great condition for having gone thru over 8inches of rain in 24 hours,

I took 12 well experienced golfers to play this course and they enjoyed the outing. Course was challenging, well maintained and the staff very easy to deal with. Food and drink afterward was fairly priced and good. First class experience.

As always, the course was in excellent shape. Greens rolled nicely, fairways were great to hit from.

Course was in great shape! Best fairways I have been on all year. Greens were a little slow but were nice. Hope they double cut them next time I play there.

Good to play at $20 Super Hot Deal though

Played as a threesome on a beautiful May day and found the course in very good condition, especially based on the amount of rain in this area. The course has a good variety of holes, ranging from relatively short to long, easy to difficult, and all of which were fun to play. Most of the fairways are pretty wide, greens not overly bunkered except for a couple, all of which make it an interesting and challenging course. I recommend this course for the average to better players. Players above a bogey handicap may get frustrated with some of the more difficult holes. Be sure and select the appropriate tee box for your level of ability.

The course was in great shape and a lot of fun to play, one of the guys in our group got a hole in one. The one draw back was that pace of play was slow.

Despite the inclement weather we enjoyed playing this course. It was challenging, pristine and in a very senic area.
