lovely course
really enjoyed the course. We're beginners and just getting around some local courses and this was our favourite so far. We rented carts and I'm glad we did because its very hilly. Some course knowledge would be an advantage because its no always clear where holes are in relation to some doglegs etc. But all in all, lovely
Improving all the time
Now that some of the trees have grown the holes 10,5,11 that lie next to each other feel better and more defined. Greens play true but surprisingly slow and they don’t break!! Tee boxes need attention as getting quite lumpy in area.
Refreshments cart was good but the beer did not help as much as I thought it would....a lot of discarded bottles etc by tee boxes which really makes me angry Players need to take responsibility for their rubbish, is it a big deal to carry your beer bottle to a bin??
Staff onsite superb as usual
Decent challenging course
Decent challenging course with lots of elevation changes. Tees were a little unkempt and uneven and the greens were quite fluffy and slow. Overall the course was in good condition and provided a good test for the average golfer.
Great course
It’s a challenging course but bunkers need improving ie put more sand in and remove the stones.
Great course
Great course and kept in great condition! My only snag would be that the tees at this moment in time are a tad dry they need watering but other than that perfect.
Golf course
Thoroughly enjoyed the course it had some great holes and was in brilliant condition would definitely be playing again
Up there with the best!
We play courses regularly throughout Hampshire and this is without doubt my favourite! Fabulous scenery and always in great condition!
Good mornings golf
Played early and the course was generally in good condition. Greens were consistent and the rough had been cut back.
This course could be som much better though, with a bit of money spent on it, it could become a really good course to play. At the moment £16-£20 is about right
Pretty course
Very enjoyable obviously would be better playing in the summer....very hard and very Hilly
Awful Course
I can honestly say that I have never played on such a badly kept course. The fairways were unkept and you couldn't make them out from the semi rough, once in the rough there was very little chance of finding you ball, but worst of all the greens were like putting in a bunker - they were all covered in sand on a 'grid' of inch wide square drainage holes. This really ruined out game. The only plus is that the course was quiet, but that wasn't surprising as I can't see people coming back to play again - we certainly won't be.
Vary good well worth the money green need a little attention
Challenging layout, but greens need some work.
Great pace of play on a Saturday morning (probably helped by the Club Comp being on the Park course). However, the rough has been left to grow wild in many parts of the course making it extremely difficult to find your ball when you’re only a few yards from the fairway. The greens are also in need of some attention; there was a lot of moss on them, the grass was too long, and had not been watered in a long time.

A tiring Sunday round
We played the Greenwood. An interesting course with lots of hills and angled fairways. Enjoyed the round however some fairways were too long and the rough was very deep.
