Up there with the best!
We play courses regularly throughout Hampshire and this is without doubt my favourite! Fabulous scenery and always in great condition!
Good mornings golf
Played early and the course was generally in good condition. Greens were consistent and the rough had been cut back.
This course could be som much better though, with a bit of money spent on it, it could become a really good course to play. At the moment £16-£20 is about right
Pretty course
Very enjoyable obviously would be better playing in the summer....very hard and very Hilly
Awful Course
I can honestly say that I have never played on such a badly kept course. The fairways were unkept and you couldn't make them out from the semi rough, once in the rough there was very little chance of finding you ball, but worst of all the greens were like putting in a bunker - they were all covered in sand on a 'grid' of inch wide square drainage holes. This really ruined out game. The only plus is that the course was quiet, but that wasn't surprising as I can't see people coming back to play again - we certainly won't be.
Vary good well worth the money green need a little attention
Challenging layout, but greens need some work.
Great pace of play on a Saturday morning (probably helped by the Club Comp being on the Park course). However, the rough has been left to grow wild in many parts of the course making it extremely difficult to find your ball when you’re only a few yards from the fairway. The greens are also in need of some attention; there was a lot of moss on them, the grass was too long, and had not been watered in a long time.
A tiring Sunday round
We played the Greenwood. An interesting course with lots of hills and angled fairways. Enjoyed the round however some fairways were too long and the rough was very deep.
New changes
Haven't played this course in years so wasn't aware of all the changes. Long par 5's ,very long course and very hilly. Certainly challenges you. Worth playing again so you are ready for the pitfalls ahead of you.
Good course if you enjoy a challenge!
Enjoyed the woodland course immensely and will definitely be back to try it again!
A good test
Frustrating round on a decent course.
First impressions of the course, amenities and staff was very good. Then we were told that we would be following the Seniors and expect a 5 hour round. How true that was. Not all down to the Senior I have say. We were mainly help by a 2 ball who spent most of their time looking for balls in the endless punishing rough as did several others.
Course wàs interesting, with a good layout and in excellent condition.
Twilight bargain
The course was in great condition and with the price from Golf Now this was a good deal
