Nice Course.
Played for the first time. A nine hole course played twice from different tee boxes which worked well but not sure how it would fare if played during a busier period.
Course was in very good playing condition and greens were excellent.
Julie in the hut was very welcoming too.
Would recommend and returning soon
Outstanding
Unbelievable go to course for the money and friendliness, great access and parking, easy to get to, great course to walk on, pathways set out well, greens and fairways were superb, great 2nd Tee Off locations for back 9 that really change a few of the holes completely, lovely welcoming staff at the hut, serves what you needed it to at a tea hut on a weekend, lovely course, fun holes, thoroughly enjoyable.
Great little course
Pretty tricky 9 hole course, the 10-18th tees makes the holes very different, overall great experience
Excellent condition
The corse is in excellent condition despite using temporary t boxes on some of the holes
Golf course in good condition
The golf course is in good condition for the time of the year,
Great value
No bells and whistles but a really nicely maintained course. Would be great if it had better warm up options, nets are available but no putting green.
Pleasantly tricky
Not an especially long course but shot placement is critical with tight doglegs on most holes. Its also only a 9 green course but has 2 or 3 sets of tees on every hole so makes you come at the fairways and greens from different lines. Good condition too as its currently February and there are no temporary greens or tee mats either!
Unfortunately there is no clubhouse only a snack shack which is where you book in. But well worth a visit.
Lovely course for beginners
I'm very much a beginner, this course was very inviting and friendly. Quite challenging in places but fairly easy to find the ball in the trees and only lost a couple to adjacent fields. Nicely tucked into the countryside too.
Very friendly staff, nice course
Was interested to pay this course to see how the back 9 played considering you were playing the same holes again. Apart from a couple of holes where the tee boxes had to be next to eachother I think it works really well.
The course is well kept with no temporary greens or tee boxes and didn't notice anywhere too boggy.
My only thought would be that some of the holes have bunkers, but they are placed well out the way or at the back of the greens rather then front, so seem a bit pointless. No one likes bunkers but if you're going to have them they might as well be in challenging places.
£19 for an 18 was very reasonable, will definitely be coming back
Golf
An interesting and challenging course. Ever green was different and enjoyable to play on.
