Lovely local course
Lovely greens and fairways, really friendly staff. The course itself is not too challenging so everyone can enjoy their round. Overall a very relaxed golfing experience and one I would recommend.

A nice place to play
This is York so all courses are flat! This is a friendly course with leeway for errant shots, but watch out as there is water in places (and farmers fields that are OOB!). I have played here many times and keep coming back as it is really enjoyable - overall it's a fairly easy course, needs a bit of thinking and some holes can be long depending on the prevailing wind. The finishing holes are good with a par 3 and two par4's, with 18 needing a good tee shot to give you a good chance to give yourself a birdie putt in front of the clubhouse.
