Enjoyable course - decent greens and good layout

Gorse is pretty enjoyable, similar standard to most £30 green fees, fairly clean greens & fairways. Staff are nice, you can get good deals anything under £30 is a bargain imo. Example courses similar level around leicsster - beedles lake/ullesthrope.

Disappointed

Grass way to long on the fairway and rough. Good luck finding your ball in the rough. Had to wait constantly with the people in front trying to find their ball.

Really disappointed, although I did like the back 9.

Grass too long

Fairways and rough way too long, struggled around the course because of that.

Enjoyed the course.

Despite playing off temporary tees which you expect in the winter, we enjoyed the course. Hopefully we will return in the spring/summer when the weather is warmer and the course is in even better condition!

Good Course, Great Staff

Exceptional value for money. Course is in lovely condition, considering the challenges faced this year. The lady in the halfway house even trusted us to pay for the bacon sarnies after the round as we had no cash. Will definitely be back.

Return after 4 decades

Nice parkland course from farm fields now with a variety of mature trees. Much in existence still on the back 9 fairways are the ridge and furrow. Great views of the rolling Leicestershire countryside on the front 9 and now a few holes on the back 9 with new housing being built adjacent to the course as Oadby expands.

Slow slow slow slow slow and slow

Really nice course, friendly staff in the pro shop, but gave up and left without finishing. Would have taken around 6 hours to finish the round at the pace we were on. It was a shame as the course was very good but wouldn’t go back based on this experience.
