Nice coarse.

Nice coarse with a variety of holes, some challenging long par 4s , neat and tidy, some greens a bit patchy but under treatment. over all a good day out.

Greens needed watering

On the whole course was in fantastic condition tee to green, however the greens themselves were like concrete and clearly hadn't been watered for a while. Unable to land anything on them to hold the green, even wedges were running on 10 yards after landing let alone a longer iron where you would have to land it 20 yards short and run it up. Shame as the layout and everything else about the course was in top shape.

Nice course and facilities

Glen Gorse is one of my favourite local courses. It is quite a challenge for high handicappers like myself particularly in the winter months, but this week the course and in particular the greens were immaculate, and all four of our group recorded reasonable scores. We were greeted in a very friendly manner on arrival and given access to the locker rooms etc. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to use the clubhouse facilities after the round, but will look forward to rectifying this on my next visit.

Glen Gorse Enjoyment

Turned up 30 minutes before my tee off and was informed I could tee off straight away, so that was pleasant start to my round. Course in top condition, greens were slower than I am use too, but that was because I didn't spend 10 minutes practicing. Good challenge, got some long par 4's to finish but also some good holes to score birdies on. Look forward to returning

Lovely course very friendly.

First round at this corse, on arrival staff very welcoming and informative regards practice areas etc. Playing 2 ball but following two 4 balls, bit slow at first but first 4 ball let us through then second finished at 12th. Ground fairly good considering rain previous week, played off normal tee boxes and greens. Overall very enjoyable round, will definitely play again.

Lovely course

I have nothing negative to say about this club. Obviously playing it in February I was not seeing it at its best, the greens were very bobbly but it did not dilute the pleasure playing the course. Lovely halfway house and very friendly staff and very friendly locals too

Poor greens

I’m sure the course is better in summer but the greens were patchy and bumpy throughout.
