Good course for the money
On a few holes the landscape made it challenging as a beginner but great value for the money, could do with a touch up on some of the greens
High value, good quality course
A quality course with breathtaking views. Layout is impressive and offers multiple "signature" holes to keep you coming back. Staff are friendly. I have played a number of high end courses and they are not a patch on this, the greenkeepers should be credited for the impressive fairways and smart, well worked greens. Definitely a course that I will keep going back to time and time again.
Great parklands course.
This course is in my doorstep, but I have avoided playing it due to previous adverse comments. I couldn't have been more wrong. I can imagine that it would be a different course in wetter conditions, but in dry conditions the course played beautifully. The fairways are forgiving for wayward drives, but the course presents a good test for golfers of all levels.
Fantastic course for beginners
An excellent course, I managed 2 birdies including the final hole which made me want to go round again. Still classing myself as a total beginner I managed to break the 100 for only the 2nd time in my playing career would definitely recommend this course.
Golf in the sunshine
After our previous attempt to play the course in late October 2024 when we walked off after 11 holes because the course was saturated, we decided to give it another go.
On a beautiful sunny day the course had dried out nicely.
The general condition of the course was good although some of the tee boxes were quite worn. The fairways were reasonably grassed and obviously that will improve as the year continues. The greens were in good order and nicely placed (I holed a few putts so they were kind to me).
I think our only dissatisfaction was that after the round the cafe was only available for drinks and biscuits and not its usual menu of toasties and jacket potatoes etc at 3.15pm
We will be back
Haigh Hall
The only thing that let it down was the pace of play really slow groups In front .
Also website needs updating to say there is no longer a driving range there .
Haigh Hall GC
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Course was in good condition and well signposted for visitors. Greens were in good condition and nice to putt on, some tricky breaks made it a good challenge. We had an enjoyable game in nice conditions.
Great course. Value for money.
Always enjoyable playing here. Course conditions are really well kept. Very good price so great value for money.
Plenty of parking and Parking fee can be validated at golf shop.
Good condition today
Not rained for a good few days so was a lot drier than usual - plenty of run on the ball.
Very confusing course + overpriced
First time playing golf here. When you arrive it’s part of a big woodland park so you have to park with all other visitors in an overcrowded car park. We didn’t know where the check in desk was so just ended up playing not knowing we should have checked in or where to go. Course was okay, conditions were good as it’s been dry, but for £23.50 it’s drastically over priced, there are plenty of nicer courses nearby for around the same price, that actually have a proper clubhouse etc. also never knew you could get your parking validated so also paid £3.50 to park. All in all not a great experience and wouldn’t return.

Nice 18 hole course. Well laid out. Front nine offers a nice open fairways that get a little narrow and tricky on the back nine
Needs work.
Played for the first time. Still winter conditions a lot of wet areas and most greens full of pitch marks. Bunkers need work as some look like a children's sandpit.
Good course layout with some testing holes.
With a bit of TLC could be very good.
Will definitely return later in the year when if drys out and the grass grows back.
