Great course and excellent value

The course is taxing with strategically placed bunkers and ditches. The course has sloping fairways and tricky greens with subtle borrows it is excellent value for money. I played on Thursday midday and the course was relatively quiet. I would recommend this course as although the fairways are wide tee shots can be taxing with longish second shots into sloping greens.

Best value golf

Once again Haigh Hall didn't fail. Absolute bargain golf. Great layout and great condition. Yes a few tees are worn and bare and a few bits of litter here and there but it's a municipal... The layout and test of golf is brilliant. A real hidden gem.

Will be back to play another bargain round.

Good day at Haigh

Not the first time playing here, we do enjoy playing here. The course was in good condition, and there was evidence of the ground staff doing their daily tasks.

Good friendly cafe for after round discussions.

Course signage is a let down

Overall I liked the course but I've not played much in recent years as I'm an old golfer returning to the sport. Therefore I've not a lot to compare to. It's hilly which is a pain but also the undulations make it interesting.

Signs and directions for the holes: it's need to be sorted.... its just lazy management. Also, there needs to be consistency. Some Tees are really well kept and don't look like they've been touched in years

Lovely course

First time playing this course.

It's quite hard to find as there aren't any signs for the course.

Park in the main Haigh Hall carpark and book in at the cafe.

Fairways and greenzls are in very good condition. As a beginner we found the greens harder than we are used too but enjoyed the challenge.

Will defo be playing again.

Bargain golf

I have to say this is the best £12.50 I've ever spent on a round of golf. Course was in great condition, greens were brilliant.

For a municipal course it's brilliant. The layout and some of the holes are as good as anywhere. Only downside is groups of lads who don't know the etiquette about letting you through or pace of play. Took me 40 mins for first 3 hopes!!! For a cheap round of quality golf this is the place to go. If this was a private club it could be made into an absolutely fantastic golf facility and one of the best courses in the area. A hidden gem of a course. I will be back.

Great value course

Have played here a number of times over the past few weeks. The course is absolutely amazing for a municipal course. Had a good chat with the head green keeper and praised him on how good the course is. The staff are really friendly and lots of cafes to get something to eat after the round. Would definitely recommend and will be playing here again!!
