Value for money in the Summer
Always a little hit and miss before and after peak Summer weather, but at this time of year, Haigh Hall is always a fun, secretly tricky test with danger everywhere.
It's quite open, so there is room to miss on most holes, but has enough danger to have to make you think about your shots.
Is it as premium as more expensive courses? Definitely not. But offers a lot of value, especially with its £9 Twilight times.
Great value for money
A great municipal course. Immaculate condition, with challenging greens
Fantastic course for the money loved would recommend to everyone

Lovely scenic course
Played this course at least half a dozen times and it never disappoints. Well kept, true greens and interesting
Great course
Excellent greens and really enjoyable course. Cracking green fee price via Golf Now as well.
Would love to play again if in the area.
Improving
Played here a few times, the course is located in a lovely country park amongst many other facilities such as cafes, shops, children's entertainment, mini golf. I'll be honest the value for money is great but the greens are far from perfect a few bobbly puts and the odd weed growing in them. The bunkers are not in the best condition either (top tip; dont go in them). Other than that everything is good nice fairways, a tricky course layout to test your game. It has definitely improved and the staff are working hard so kudos to them! It's not on my list of favourite courses but if you want a cheap satisfying round this is the course for you!
