Hart Common Golf Club - Main Course

Always a pleasure to play , its a reasonably challenging course, the long last three holes make it a bit tiring. Greens in superb condition.

Only gripe, a three ball ahead slowing everyone by individually putting out on every green. On a long par 5 they were on the green taking ages, a single player waiting to play on to the green, a two ball waiting to play their second shot and a four ball arriving on the tee

Enjoyed playing the corse with some decent holes and course was in good condition.got a good deal on Monday which was excellent value £12 not sure if I would pay £25 at the weekend.but overall would recommend

I would highly recommend you book an early tee time as this course is highly popular and long first tee times aren’t uncommon. Course was great and somewhat challenging for both myself (22hcp) and my friend (14hcp). Would recommend.

My go to local course. Greens fairway and even the rough always in good condition. Nice long course and soe testing holes. Friendly staff there and definitely worth the value for 18 holes. Probably my favourite course to go to in the area.

Nice course but don’t hope for a nice round, ruined by members playing at snails pace . Not the corses fault but something needs to be done . At one points there were fours groups of us waiting on the tee to .

Played solo mid week, all 18 holes were good and a challenge. Pace of play was fine, fellow golfers were friendly and pleasant. Lady in the pro shot was informative and helpful. Had a great day even though I didn’t play my best.

Fantastic course played yesterday in tough windy conditions. Play was a little slow but it was competition day so to be expected. Great bar facilities plenty of outdoor seating overlooking 8th and 18th greens. Would highly recommend this course for golfers who want a tough but fair test of golf.

Yet again this course amazes me the best municipal course in the North West bar none after all the rain over the last few days the greens were immaculate and fairways just a little damp in some areas. A great challenge for any golfers if I was to join any club in my area this would be top of my list

Stuck behind 3 4 balls who refused to allow us to play through despite us playing at a much quicker pace. They were in a ‘comp’ but we’re spending upwards of 5 minutes looking for balls off the fairway. The round took 5 hours on a Wednesday with a 9:30 tee.

Course need to invest in some proper distance markers to improve play experience.

Great course, played plenty of times and conditions are always excellent. Greens had been spiked but ball still rolled true

The greens are always so good here.. a few pitch marks but that’s the golfers not the green keeping staff.

Really enjoy playing here it’s a good challenge and rewards good golf shots

Similar to another recent review my round on Saturday had also taken 4 hours to do 13 holes. Waiting for ages on every tee box is no fun and I walked off after the 13th. Poor management of tee times - trying to cram too many in just backs everything up.

In addition to this we had some pretty unpleasant conduct from other golfers. Despite the course being totally backed up the group behind kept insisting on being allowed to play through. Eventually we let them as it wasn't worth the hassle. They did the same to the group in front. What is the point when everyone is in the same situation! On letting them through we then had the group behind us drive at us on the fairway 13 whilst we were waiting for the green to clear. Good job he possessed a wicked slice.

Potential to be a pretty nice course but it's not just the quality of the course that shapes the experience, and unfortunately other factors made this the worst round of the year so far

Directions to following tees required for first time players, difficult to navigate at times.
