Hart Common Golf Club - Main Course

This is a gem of a course. It has a mixture of holes with different degrees of difficulty.The greens are in absolutely perfect condition and vary in difficulty with some fantastic undulations and the sizes of the greens vary too but the majority are of a generous size. The greens are very well manicured as are the tees. The fairways and rough are very well managed too. I would definitely recommend to everyone to play this course not only for the fantastic layout but for the great value for money it is. In my opinion. A 5 star course..

Just a few minutes short of 3 hours to play 9 holes.

Course and greens in particular in great condition, but the pace of play ruined any enjoyment entirely.

Booked a four ball for 7:36am tee off time on a Saturday. First of all the practice area near the driving range was just a mud hill which wasn’t a great start. We was met by the owners daughter after the 9th hole where we was told we was “holding up others “ and if we are not “competent enough, then you will have to come off”. Although we wasn’t having the best round, we allowed a 2 ball and a 4 ball to play through which by the way held us up after a single hole was played through. We was also told the tee time, which by the way we was allowed to book over the phone, was in the middle of a comp. Instead of money grabbing, maybe advise us to move the tee time or simply do not allow us to book in the middle of a competition. It’s really not difficult to organise! The greens and fair ways overall were of a good standard. The first cut however was horrendous. Many times we hit half decent tee shots which bounced on the fairway into the first cut and we could not find the ball due to the length of the grass! £22 for a round on this course, as well as being told we were not competent is enough for me to never give them my money again nor to recommend this course to others. Very stuck up members and family who run the course!!

You'll not spend a better tenner for a brilliant evening of golf

A lovely course, first time playing it was very impressed and would definitely come back to play again. Fairways unfortunately a little wet in places but after 12 days of rain it was expected, though every Green was amazing I'd go as far to say some of the best I've played on a real challenge for all abilities.

Brilliant course, well layed out, great drainage and brilliant greens! Best in the area by miles!

The Course is in fantastic condition and well maintained, Greens are pure. Challenging golf course but enjoyable. Will be back

Good course - greens were good - I’ve seen them better there - but still good (- got round in 4 hours 15 - not a short course - so not too bad - 18th is a tough par 4 to finish on - uphill and into a breeze when we played - tougher than the previous par 5,s. Always quite busy there - but that’s because the course is good condition at a reasonable price. A few pitch marks on greens - but this is becoming more common these days - new golfers aren’t encouraged/ educated to repair them - more could be done by all clubs in that respect. Having said that - the greens were generally really good and rolled true .

It was our second visit to Hart Common. Still just as good with fast greens and lush fairways. Would recommend too all abilities.

And yes it hailed and the 18th was white at the end of April lol

This is a course I've played many times both as a guest and a member and it is amazing.Peter(the owner) and his staff have got this course in fantastic condition. The tees are great, the fairways mown properly, the rough cut to the length were it punishes you but not too harshly. The greens are absolutely stunning and are beautifully manicured. The bunkers are amazing. This course is as good as or even better than some private courses and has some really challenging holes and also 3the price is great too.It played a bit slower today because people playing in the midweek competition but that didnt stop us having a great round. I would recommend everyone to play this course at least once because once you have played it you will return.A first class course at a first class price.⛳

One of my favourite courses and it's in amazing condition.

Course was in great condition play can be a little slow in places but honestly think it was to be expected on such a nice day for British weather. Great course and value for money compared to others for similar money.
