Lovely course but deceptively difficult
Nice condition. Tough course, tight off the tees, finding fairways critical. Small, well defended greens make this a deceptively challenging but enjoyable course. Friendly pro shop and members, nice atmosphere, good facilities. Would definitely come back to try and lower our scores, 2nd time around would be easier
Winter green's
Was told on arrival that all greens were in play but 3 holes there was just a hole in the ground .condition of the course was quite good after all the rain lately but for £35 would of expected better and all greens in play
The golf course is extremely well maintain. All the staff are are warm ,welcoming and friendly the food served is also is delicious
Great condition
Course was in great condition, definitely play it again.
Brilliant
Great course, not very long but tricky. Fun for all levels of golfers will be back to play again.
Haydock golf course
Lovely friendly staff , moved my tee time forward for me from original booking …course in very good condition no slow play, just 2 greens on winter greens which I’m sure because of maintenance on the greens will be back to normal soon , would recommend, paid £27 for 2.30 tee time great value for money , would definitely play again
Poor greens
Played today, staff were superb and members very friendly!! Course fairways were excellent but the greens were very poor and we had a few temp greens in play aswell!
Overall once greens are sorted would definitely return!!
Great apart from the greens
Course was generally in good condition however the greens were shocking. 2 greens were on winters and the other 16 were patchy and seeded. I was warned in the pro shop but was frustrated I’d paid full price without prior warning of the condition.
Average
1st time playing here. Course is well laid out and fairways are reasonable however the greens are the poorest greens I’ve played on for years. Over charging when greens are taken into account.

Arrived at the course and was greeted by the professional during the round it was clear that the course was suffering with problems sad to say the monies paid to play was to much was worth no more than ten pounds very disappointed

this has to be one of the best course layouts i have seen this year perfect to play but with something to think about on each hole. great place for golf !
Great course
My first visit to haydock park.
There had obviously been a downpour the previous evening and the course should really have been closed as it was waterlogged in places.
Still didn’t stop us enjoying our round .
The whole course seemed really well kept and we’ll be back in the summer .
Last minute booking, glad we did!
Nice parkland course with tight fairways and excellent greens. would definitely return £17 each on hot deals was a snip for this little gem of a course!
Haycock Park
A lovely flat parkland course, tree lined fairways. Well looked after. Greens in good condition although they had recently been treated and were a little bumpy. My only complaint was that two fourballs in front were unbelievably slow and the round took over 4 hours.
