Hendon Golf Club

Sadly Hendon has slipped, from can’t get any food before your round, to the worst bunkers in london. Wet during the winter months due to poor drainage, lots of bald patches during the summer.

Used to love this course as members were all so friendly now even members are leaving.

Something that is saying it’s one of the best, they need to invest heavenly in bunkers, drainage and a practice area as when I went all nets where full, putter green was full with a lesson and no chipping area.

Great course with really small greens and smart design.

I booked to play a sunset round, however on arrival there were four balls in front as far as the eye could see. I barely got around 12 holes before it was time to head back before dark.

The club shouldn’t allow £35/£40 tee times at 6pm, with as many foursomes playing as they had.

I would phone ahead next time to check what’s happening - the completion could at least be advertised on the GN app.

The course is lovely and quite straight forward for the most part though.

This is my second time playing here and it was as good as I remembered. I can't recommend it enough.

It was an easy Uber ride over(be it just under an hour due to London traffic), but well worth it.

Ok golf course, instantly forgettable, and would not return at the price paid (55).

I have played this course with society days a few times before.

Basically the course layout is rather mundane and no wow factor holes and probably won’t be returning here soon.

Played early so was very quiet an got round in just over 2 hours. Despite winter conditions the course played really well. Some tees used mats but most were not which was good.

The course was very good . The fairways very green and even . Enjoyed every minute of my time there.

What a lovely spent playing this fantastic course. Really great condition. A lovely welcome in the pro shop and the bar. Would highly recommend this course. We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff at the pro shop was very polite and helpful exceptionally helpful.

I have played this course about 8-9 times now this summer. Absolutely love it. This is how courses should be designed for amateurs - simple layout, no complications, yet challenging if wind picks up. Lots of spaces between holes. Friendly people. Very well maintained. Love it!!

Course was in good condition. Greens were excellent compared to other courses in the area.

Greens/tees above average considering the time of year and the recent weather. Really friendly members and staff. Would definitely recommend.
