What can I say about this tremendous course, best course in the North East by far, £20 on a hot deal from Golfnow. Greens were very fast but very fair could of done with watering as they were very hard and nothing would stick but apart from that a great day! Thank you Hexham Golf Club

Great Parkland Course in Stunning Grounds

My wife and I played at Hexham for the first time. The course is set on the outskirts of the town in rolling countryside and is simply stunning. The course was in great condition with mature trees lining the fairways. The greens were firm and fast.

The Clubhouse is also excellent with a nice seating area at the front overlooking the course.

We will definitely return. The pace of play was slightly slow because we were behind a competition.

It was a beautiful warm day though so that didn't matter. Awesome course.

We arrived to play this course and the staff in the professional shop were very helpful. Course was in great condition and very scenic. Had a great day but only marked down as food stopped just after five and we only started our round at 14:50 so had to go somewhere else to eat.

Overall though had a fantastic day.

We enjoyed our round of golf at Hexham, but as it was our first time playing there, and winter greens were in use, we could have done with better guidance as to where both the temporary tees and greens were located. We spent quite a bit of time searching for them and asking other golfers for directions.

Really enjoyed playing round Hexham and found every hole interesting. Well kept and definitely worth the money for £14 a person. Only real negative was the use of winter greens although we weren't surprised about that. I would definitely recommend for the price
