Superb condition fairways and greens
Wow, really pleased with the overall conditions of the course today. Well done to all the ground staff for keeping it in such good condition.
Last minute booking
A last minute booking turned into a lovely evening’s golf. Course in good condition, greenkeepers doing a fantastic job given the drought like conditions this summer. Staff friendly as always. Really enjoyed evening knock. Happy to recommend this course.
Great friendly club
Fantastic club. Friendly members and staff. I had a great experience there. The groundskeeper has the tee boxes and greens in perfect condition. Spot on club, really enjoyed my rounds there.
Great course
The course is in great condition and has some pretty challenging holes. Couple of them are blind over hills so my first time round was more challenging than expected.
Definitely recommend this course to play and will be back again
Great experience
Nice course. In very good condition greens were exceptional
Worth a visit , back nine has loverly ambiance
Lovely afternoon in the sun
Haven’t played at Prudhoe for a while. As always staff really friendly. Course in great condition - fairways and greens running true. Pace of play was ok as course was quite quiet.
Only complaint (minor) was the amount of footprints in bunkers. No excuse because every bunker had a good rake - just bad manners. That said a lovely afternoon / early evening in the sun and nearly an ace on the 15th.
Very pleasant
Course in great condition for time of year ground staff seemed busy keeping that way,
Club house staff member really nice and friendly
Wou
Will return soon
Could be better
I understand the time of year but having winter tee boxes half way down the hole is a bit crap there was four or five par 4s turned in to par 3s . The course was very wet and greens are understandable not the best with the weather we have had recently . I have played this course in summer and it’s fantastic. But winter not so good
Lovely way to end the working week
Took a half day annual leave to introduce a colleague to the Prudhoe course. Have played a number of times before but it was really nice to introduce the course to someone else who was playing for the first time. A lovely calm autumn afternoon made for a most enjoyable round. Course in great condition despite a lot of rain over the last couple of weeks. Great way to end the working week.
Course in great condition
Booked late on Golf Now and hoped that the course would be quiet. Great value for money as always at Prudhoe and the course was in fantastic condition. Because it was late in the afternoon the pro shop was closed so the usual warm welcome from the folks in there was missing. First few holes were great and whizzed round, but after the 5th got stuck behind a very slow 4 ball and even slower 3 ball in front of them. Realised I wasn’t going to get round the back nine before sunset so contented myself with an enjoyable front 9. Even for 9 holes it’s still great value for money.
You will need a electric cart
Too many steep hills for me, in my 70@s and only having a pull cart I was knackered bye the time I hit the across the road 12 tee. Need a electric cart. Also lost the directions to the next tee sometime. might just be me but had to ask other player where the next tee was.
