Up and down litrerally!
This was my last course to complete in Doncaster and it was a sunny afternoon- after a ground frost the night before.
Check in the Pro shop efficient and friendly- found my way to the toilet through the locker rooms- which looked very nice.
Onto the 1st tee- all winter tees were in use to protect what looked like impressive green tees. Unlike other winter tees my tee went in everyone without fighting for it to stay up- however, as a leftie there was some debris from previous players shoes! (same everywhere really!). So its down hill near to the water then back uphill to the green, this was the case throughout this course to be honest and you have to be fit to play here!
The greens were in impeccable condition and ran very true- credit to the ground staff, unreal for this time of year.
The course was easy to navigate - a few signs helped along the way and there was a 2 ball in front to.
Literally you will be playing either uphill or downhill - in case of the 14th= both lol & the drop from the hill on the 15th mind blowing!
Due to no rain for a couple of weeks there was no signs of the course being boggy and the fairways quite firm, many varied obstacles and fairways. I thoroughly enjoyed my first round at this course, the pace was good and not too many players on course.
I cannot comment on the 19th but the club house looked lovely- the course is in good surroundings apart from the 1 in 4 hills.
Decent course but there’s better
Well maintained, greens very good. Very boggy in places. Wouldn’t like to play it every week, far too hilly for me and I’m a young golfer. Better courses in the area.
Beaut condition Rapid greens
One of my favourite courses. Despite the incredible heat the course was in perfect condition and greens were incredibly quick and challenging as day before a comp.
Got to go off early as relatively quiet and barely saw other people.
£30 during week is a little too high compared to neighbouring courses

Myself and co player are both novice golfers, but had friendly welcome from both staff and members
The course was extremely well kept with stunning views and challenging terrain
We will definitely be going back

course was in great condition. greens were fast and true.beautifull course but tiring..ok for the young and healthy but if your getting on in years try and hire a buggy

Course in fantastic condition with great greens - just a shame clubhouse wasn't open, but with Covid that's come to be expected

Played this course for the first time, got a hot deal so really good price. Fantastic condition and well maintained. It is quite hilly so a testing round but would/will play again.

Only down side of today was the halfway house closed a little early b4 2 o’clock but the course wasn’t too busy.
Greens in brilliant condition, fairways in great condition. Very well maintained course. Hills on the back 9 can be quite challenging especially on a hot day.
Overall a very nice friendly course and i'd highly recommend a visit if your in the area

Played this course over ten years ago and I forgot how good it was. It has got quite a lot of hills, and there are some really challenging holes. The course was in excellent condition, the greens were the best I have played for a long time. Excellent value at fifteen pounds, I would highly recommend this course.
Society golf day
Course was in excellent condition and was a challenge whether you are a single figure or a high handicap golfer. Surprised how hilly the course was and wouldn't recommend carrying.
