Fantastic greens
Had been meaning to play here for a while and wasn’t disappointed
The course was in great condition , especially the greens
The only downside was the pace of play, though that was due to a society
Will definitely be back
If it were a bit nearer, I’d join in a shot ( possibly topped!).
It’s a wonderful course in terms of its design and the challenges it poses. We played it in peak conditions, and relished the well-kept fairways and greens. These greens demanded focus and skill if one was to read them well.
We received a friendly welcome ; the shop was well-stocked; the course wasn’t overly busy .
We had travelled from Junction 23 on the M5, having snapped up a Golf Now Hot Spot. That’s too far for frequent bookings, but I envy all those who are members or who are able to join.
Really nice course with super fast greens
What a great course, not long but still challenging. Greens were super fast on the day. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I would defiantly return.
Some lovely views around the half way point.
Worthy of a visit if you are in the area.
Nice flat course
One of the flattest courses I have played in Devon. Good condition throughout, especially for time of year. Rough is friendly so balls only lost when OOB. Enjoyed and will be back.
Very Enjoyable parkland course. Very well kept . Very busy the day we went but still moved at a good pace.
Closed
Had a phone call from the course before 9.15am to say the course was closed. Appreciated that, though would have preferred to play obviously!

Nice course, improving after rain.
This is a good parkland course, ideal for mid to high handicap players, fairly flat and quite short. Some tight drives and fairways though.
In pretty good nick after what has been a very dry summer. Grass recovering well everywhere, but greens were heavily sanded. They will be very true in time. Tees were notably well kept too which a lot of courses would do well to copy!
Altogether a nice place to be.
Return visit
Having plated a couple of years ago, I wanted to return as enjoyed the first round. And it did not disappoint. Ended booking another round while I was in the area the same week. Highly recommend the course. Well done to everyone involved with the course.
