Great weather day and course in very decent condition although daisies on several fairways unacceptable really. Other than that, some really interesting holes, greens were decent and extensive outstanding views made up for any course deficiencies.Bar staff and members also very friendly. Overall, really enjoyable day and would definitely come back.

Nice course with wonderful views over Kendal and the fells. The course is quite hilly but very interesting. A most enjoyable 18.

Despite the recent weather in the Lake district, this course is excellent playing condition.

The course is also very interesting and can be challenging at times.

The views are also spectacular, which makes it even better.

Unfortunately, the club house can be a bit hit and miss on whether its serving food afterwards.

This is the 3rd yr running, we've play this course in our Christmas Break and never had to play on a temp winter green, Always enjoy the venue, got very lucky with the weather this year,

Happy to play this course for the first time. Course has held up really well considering the weather recently. Quite a challenge course with plenty of blind shots. Impressive views and really friendly staff from the club house to the pro shop. I will definitely return to play the course next summer.

Course was absolutely fantastic! Greens were running superbly well, very well kept fairways, which again, were superb. Even though they were using the winter tee boxes, they again, were very well kept and we didn't mind using them at all. Everything was faultless on this visit and will definitely be playing this again in the near future.

Love the layout as it’s something very different to the norm. Very hilly and not easy if you’re not liking a good walk/hike. Lots of raised greens and no easy holes, they all play very different. Stunning views of the mountains and the town below. Highly recommended you play this course at least once as its an experience.

A lovely course, in great condition and true greens with wonderful views across the hills.

I played early one weekday morning so the course was very quiet. I nearly regretted my decision to play walking up the hill on the first but it was well worth it with what was to follow! I've played Windermere before and this is on a par for a fraction of the price.

A lot of undulations but worth the effort

The course is located in a beautiful part of the Lake District and the views at many points of the course are stunning. A very demanding walk with some tee shots unfairly punished by side sloping fairways and heavy rough but a really enjoyable challenge.

Varied interesting holes with lots of hills. . Not a flat boring course!😀 Magnificent views of Cumbria and Lake District. The fairways and greens were in lovely condition and the members couldn’t have been more helpful.

Arrived 50 minutes early to warm up and stretch properly before teeing off, to then be told by quite a rude member of staff behind the counter that there was an error with the booking system and we had to tee off asap giving no time to practice putt or loosen up hitting some balls in the net, also wasn’t mentally prepared to tee off straight out of the car at a new course.

And then being held up at every tee box by multiple slow 4 balls in front.

Bad experience and a waste of money for a day out, won’t be returning here.

A very nice, challenging course with some amazing views
