Golfer Reviews
Splendid day
Had a brilliant day the course is very well looked after
Beautiful, one of the best in Leicestershire
First time visit to Kilworth springs for me and what a beautiful course, lush and green throughout and very well maintained. Lovely mix of holes, some more challenging than others, the 12th across the water is an instagram moment in itself. Very impressed as you can tell and going back on Friday with my son in law. The Warwickshire is my yardstick for great courses in the midlands and this comes close. Fantastic value at £20 for a round as well.
A brilliant day
Well worth the money good value and friendly service
Great course for its price (£22)
Very nice course which no two holes are too similar, long and short par 3s, uphill, downhill and slight dog legs. Hazards placed strategically making you think off the tee. Water comes into it on the back nine with some picturesque tee shots over it. Lots of bumps and hills to challenge and use. Greens were in great condition and ran very true. Lovely driving range and putting green to warm up on.
Great course, always windy there which gives a good challenge. Looking forward to a few more rounds this year.
Greens need attention
Great price and friendly and welcoming staff as always but the greens were as hard as granite with a terrible roll due to the giant drainage holes all over them. Rest of the course was in good shape but putting was a waste of time.
Great 18 holes
The course is an interesting 18 holes of golf.
Nice layout great views and always in a playable condition no matter the time of year.
Dont play till greens sorted
Nice course, challenging holes.
we all appreciate that greens need maintenance but they are currently in a dreadful state with the ball bobbling and jumping all over the shop.
green fees should be less to take into account.
will try again in summer when hopefully they are better but would stay away for now
value for money green fee
course in good condition and greens were in fairly good condition also. pity the pace of play was slow as soon as we caught up with the group in front and they were always waiting on each tee after 3rd hole.
Bar prices make up for the cheapest option on green fees. Make sure you have enough money.
Wet Windy but great fun
Started off in the sun with a great friendly guy as starter. Having been made extremely welcome in the club house and bar. The sun disappeared and the rain and wind came down for 6 holes. The course coped well with the rain better than we did. But overall had a good day.
Birthday golf treat
Good test of golf, especially in the windy conditions we played in today. Pace of play was very slow due to a club seniors match in front.
Always enjoy playing this course.
Good Course
Difficult to really rate the course due to the very dry conditions, will be returning when it’s a little greener, I do believe that this is a good course for all skill levels
Massive Gem if a course
I have played kilworth a few times now and will keep on returning. I used to be a member at a different local course and I have to say this is by far and away the best course in the area. The greens are pure and well kept even with this heatwave we’ve been having. The fairways are well maintained, the rough and fescue are exactly what they are meant to be. Well positioned bunkers make the course challenging.
Great Course
As usual, a great days golf at Kilworth Springs. Some challenging holes, some interesting holes, and the necessary sweeping par 5’s to let you get your breath back. My favourite course...
Very good modern golf course
Very pleasantly surprised by this modern golf course. After al the snow recently, the course clearly drains well. There are several very well designed and challenging holes, in particular the 4th. Well worth a play. One downside was being put out behind a senior match who took the best part of 5 hours. Check before you play!
