Golfer Reviews
Good all weather course
Played course after heavy down poor night before however you would never have known as the course drains great. Was in good condition for time of year with nice lush fairways. Greens in decent winter condition . Staff very friendly. We got stuck behind seniors for 9 holes that was painfully slow but after that we whizzedround.
Missing playing partner
Booked on-line after checking with colleague. About 10 minutes before play found that due to personal circumstances playing partner was unable to attend. Teamed up with an ex-club member who was extremely good company.
Course was in fairly good condition for time of year and greens and fairways were all well maintained. Not many trees and hence leaves on the course so just make sure you stay out of the rough and you will be able to find your ball.
1/2 way house was also open - one of the few courses now that seem to still operate these.
Clubhouse was modern and busy - with separate function taking place off main bar.
Would recommend this course if you want to keep playing during winter months.
Encourages the Driver!
really enjoyed this course. nice and long, not as forgiving as it first looks as rough is very long and tough. Fell in love with the barmaid. some great shots over water
Excellent course-Well worth a visit
The front nine was exciting as its the first time myself and friends have played a inland links course and didn't disappoint -Pins were challenging with the strong winds-Back nine was completly different with lots of water but he who dares can be rewarded with good scores-Definatly come back to this challenging beautiful course
Greens fantastic
Greens fantastic, very consistent,
Staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful.
Decent driving range.
It was very windy and never in our favour which took some of the enjoyment away. Links type course, fairways and greens in great condition, heavy rough left wild, but first rough cut is very forgiving.
Great course
We'll kept, interesting course. Would definitely okay again. Could have been cheaper than 20 pounds as we teed off at 1630!
In my top three
Kilworth springs is a amazing course two different courses first nine sets you up for the second nine which is a lot harder to play. We all enjoyed playing and will certainly return if we can get it at the price we payed
A perfect Easter Saturday!
Well, almost perfect!
Weather improved as we went round, although a bit windy, course in perfect condition, kept up with the group in front but didn't have to wait (apart from the first couple of holes), the four of us were round in just over four hours. An enjoyable and interesting afternoon - now I've just got to practice a bit more!
Dry Dry Dry!
Firstly if you need a course for wet conditions this is your course. Built on rock the water just disappears. The greens where very good when I played both times. There is a hut with vending machines for crisps, snacks, Tea, soup etc on the 10th tee which I thought was a nice touch. Enough difficulty to keep you interested throughout finishing with a short Par 3 over a lake. Very friendly staff in the shop. Unfortunately didn't have time for the 19th but it seems nice from the outside!
