Poor fairways
I know there’s been a lot of rain over winter but the fairways were like the rough, hitting balls straight down the middle but still took ages to locate them even from a few feet away especially on the back 9. A lot of hidden greens so as a beginner struggled at times to know where the green was, and as most of the signs are missing from the tea boxes had no clue actually what club to hit.

Nice round
Enjoyed the round, despite the recent rain and bad weather the course wasn't that wet, just one hole was bad but work was being done to fix the drains, no temporary greens or mats greens in good condition, couple of flags missing wide forgiving fairways even for my big slices with a driver
A bit wet under foot, greens a bit woolly but only to be expected after all the rain.
Really good course to play, all levels
Open, good condition, good for beginners as fairways are open.

It’s not flat
Pleasantly surprised to come across this municipal, well maintained greens, decent fairways and very playable par 67.
My whi is 5.8 which meant played off a 2 on this course, pleased to say came in with gross 69 off the reds.
It’s hard work in places on the legs especially the last 3 holes having to climb steep hills .
Playing well!
Best condition I've seen this course in. Played at 6 am and greens had already been cut/dew removed. Plenty of sand again in the bunkers and everything looking well. Great value and always friendly staff!
Lovely challenging course
The course was well kept and the greens ran smooth. The rough around the course was unforgiving which made hitting those fairways even more necessary. Overall a very enjoyable 18 hole golf course and we recommend to anyone who fancies a new place to play.
Fun and easy open course
Weather permitted it was a great course. Boggy in a few areas but it had been raining for 3 days. Will be playing it in summer for sure.

Played this course twice on the bounce now it’s that good we start off in the cafe for a bacon sandwich and coffee then which is absolutely fabulous served by a lovely friendly lady then for the course the course is in great condition considering the time of year good layout and selection of holes we haven’t been playing that long but would recommended this course to anyone great value for money many thanks see you soon
