Great fun course and a good price.
Marland is a fun course to play with a beautiful views of Knowl Hill. The greens are well kept and the lack of trees makes it pretty forgiving. For the price I would definitely recommend having a round. The lady in the Proshop is friendly and welcoming.
The facilities could do with some work. They definitely need to upgrade their practice nets.

Lots of work done....
Played here on and off for years, it's good these days as they use the greens all year round. However they were suffering a little, but it's not surprising..... The grounds staff have been very busy preparing the course for the coming months, pruning and cutting back lots of trees and basically tidying the course in general. I'm now looking forward to returning in the summer months when the rewards will be great for all who play here.

An all round good course!
Local to us and open all year round on normal greens, can get soft in places in the winter but its grass and mud after all, In the past 2 years it has improved massively! We will certainly be looking to be members come April. Some challenging holes, good quality greens, and caters to all levels of golfers. The overall length isn’t that long but still takes a good 3-4 hours to get round depending on group size and gives your legs a workout. Overall a fantastic course and club and well worth a visit anytime of year.
