Marple Golf Club

The greens were excellent, fairways and tees were very good

First time playing Marple. Have to say its one of the nicest courses in the area. Well looked after, great staff and a good pace of play. The course itself is challenging without being overwhelming. Suitable for any golfer.

Enjoyed playing the course. It was nice and flat and well maintained.

Easy to fnavagaye and the greens were in excellent condition

Played this course a few times now. A lot of ‘quirky’ holes, plays quite long and makes you think about every shot

Marple was in excellent condition and the greens were a real test of golf, fast and true. Whoever is managing this course is doing an excellent job, well done.!

Not the longest but certainly a good test for all levels of golfer. Easy walking with some stunning views. Arrived on time and went out on time. Finished in under 3.5 hours. I would recommend this course

Great course with views that overlook the whole Manchester skyline. Was constantly surprised by the really nice features and challenges dotted about on the course like fountains, duck ponds and bridges. Only negative I could give is that if your ball lands in the rough from a drive, you have a very slim chance of finding it as even in May the ball plugged deep in what is rather deep rough! Lost 4 balls just from drives that were definitely playable but disappeared as soon as it landed, but hey it is Manchester I suppose!

Oh, and drove the back of the green on a short 260yd par 4!

Overall, extremely good value for money on a hot deal. Would’ve even looked into being a member if I lived closer.

Only 9 holes open, 2 of which had temporary greens, shouldn’t be open or able to charge in this condition

Only 9 holes open, what a joke, all other courses are open and this course not only has 9 holes open but most are temporary greens and also had a comp on and was no metion of it on website.

Would'nt of booked if it had of said, we had a rubbish round even if you could call it that.

Great course, fantastic condition. would recommend and play again.

Really enjoyed playing the course. Course is pretty tight so need to play well off the tee. A couple of fairways cross each other. Condition was great despite lots of rain over previous days. Highly recommend posting here

Great course. In very good condition. Tee boxes were a mess but otherwise tip top. Lots of short par 4s. Greens were very tough. Didn't get the big stick out much so good use of long irons on many holes. There was a lesson being conducted on the 18th whike we were lmaying which was incredibly frustrating but otherwise recommend. Definitely go back

Road to course a bit poor, had to keep reversing back fuevto not many passing places and narrow road. Nice big carpark and good club house. Friendly welcome from Pro shop. Very nice first tea straight down, with rough and trees down both sides. Course layout good. A few teas are close to people crossing or teeing off. Over all a very nice Gem of a course with plenty of hidden bunkers and water hazards.
