Golf was great the rest wasn’t.

A little gem hidden in the middle of Marple.

Upon arrival the practice facilities were ample the potting room as well kept and the nets were tidy. The staff unfortunately didn’t seem to want to be there and were not much help however the locals or members were very helpful in guiding us around the track.

The course is a mixture of tricky par 4 testing par threes and par-5 to finish all in great condition.

Fantastic Value For Money

Second time here and felt I had to leave a review. Although we've had some heavy rain lately, the course was in lovely condition. Tee beds, fairways and greens are very well maintained. Can't comment on the bunkers (didn't sample any haha). Aspect down the 1st with Manchester City centre in view is stunning on a sunny day. Greens staff, clubhouse staff and members very freindly. Shot the lowest round of my life here today. Definitely revisiting soon.

Marple magic ?

First time of playing at Marple and we wasn't disappointed , not the biggest of courses but beautiful holes, very confusing layout and needed more sign posted . Apart from that we really enjoyed the course and then drinks and snacks afterwards in the clubhouse we found the staff very friendly.

Course was fine with the exception of the greens being patchy and sanded in area's, staff in the proshop were friendly but slow due to an issue withthe till which took quite a while to resolve, although this is the second time we have played here we still managed to play to the wrong green on the 16th, more signage would be helpful around the course to help especially 1st time players.

Great views of Manchester

Fairways in good condition but greens very ropey , had been spiked and sanded and some very rough grass patches, overall worth playing though but 16th fairway needs some direction markers on tee to show where you need to be aiming as very confusing layout..

Little gem

Really good course, had chance to use a lot of different clubs in my bag. Greens had been spiked which made putting a bit tricky, but such a lovely course. Green staff very helpful with tips and directions. Already planning a four ball to show off the course.
