Just an awful day
Held up the whole way round by a 3ball in front of us and a knockout game in front of them. Not told the knockout was taking place. Over 4 hours for a two ball is ridiculous. We we’re regularly waiting 10 minutes to take a shot and on one occasion 20 minutes. I gave up after 16 because I was fed up of waiting. Never again.

Nice course. Quite flat which suited me. Course was in great condition
Marple golf
Very good course to play, it’s good not to get the driver out all time, course in great condition greens great and true, well worth a round, really enjoyed it
Interesting Course
Overall a decent round (for me), good layout, fairways cross with tee boxes at times, testing long par 3's, reachable from tee par 4 greens, staff friendly as are members, I was a lone wolf for a few holes, until a descent chap named Dave (a flexi member) joined me and navigated the course, although not hard to follow as well signed. The GREEN's not the best, it had rained lightly earlier on but I doubt that was solely responsible for the green slowness, they seem in need of proper GREEN TLC, not what seem to be fairway / fringe cuts, that said it was most enjoyable, and not too hilly, did it in 3hr 15mins, would definitely recommend a round or two here
Golf was great the rest wasn’t.
A little gem hidden in the middle of Marple.
Upon arrival the practice facilities were ample the potting room as well kept and the nets were tidy. The staff unfortunately didn’t seem to want to be there and were not much help however the locals or members were very helpful in guiding us around the track.
The course is a mixture of tricky par 4 testing par threes and par-5 to finish all in great condition.
Fantastic Value For Money
Second time here and felt I had to leave a review. Although we've had some heavy rain lately, the course was in lovely condition. Tee beds, fairways and greens are very well maintained. Can't comment on the bunkers (didn't sample any haha). Aspect down the 1st with Manchester City centre in view is stunning on a sunny day. Greens staff, clubhouse staff and members very freindly. Shot the lowest round of my life here today. Definitely revisiting soon.
