Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club

First time playing the course after it being recommended and I'd happily pass on that recommendation.

Course was a good challenge, greens are tough but fair. I won't mention hitting the flag on the par 3 9th from the tee, and rebounding 40 yards. Not going to mention that.

We were just hampered by the recent bad weather and the course was very boggy and the tees weren't cut so I'd love to revisit when it's better weather conditions. I suspect my ratings will all be high 4s or 5s as it really is a great course.

The course was in really excellent condition. The fairways had lots of grass, the greens were smooth but not terribly quick. This isn't a bad thing as the greens are huge and there is very rarely a flat area.

The bunkers were very uniform which was nice as I went in a few. There were also lots of rakes.

We easily completed 18 hours despite using the half price twilight deal starting near 5:30pm

A group of six played and enjoyed it very much condition of course was excellent greens were brilliant and the staff where very helpful especially the starter who gave us some sun cream as we had forgotten to bring some.a bit expensive to play on a regular basis but nice for a change

Absolutely superb golf course, very well kept and maintained, will certainly be returning here again

The course was in superb condition. The greens were immaculate and the pace of the greens were excellent. I’ve been lucky to okay some amazing golf courses and this has to to be up there with beautiful courses. My only gripe is and it’s nothing to do with the course but the users. I wish players would replace divots and repair pitch marks. Our golf courses could be much better if we all looked after them properly. I ended repairing about 5 or 6 repair marks.

Have played Marriott Worsley a few times now, and enjoy the challenge and variety it has to offer. However, the condition let it down, I appreciate we’ve had some wet days as of late, but it’s April and we’ve had more days dry than not. The fairways were okay, however some were very sloppy especially the 15th.

If you hit your ball anywhere in the rough on any hole, you could bet good money that it was either plugged or lost completely, very very wet and muddy off the fairways.

7 of us played and all enjoyed it. mid afternoon tee off on a Sunday in late March , the fairways and greens where in great condition the semi rough was boggy course would be amazing in dryer conditions , .no half way house open not sure if this changes as we move into summer but would have been nice to able to stop for a break as it was a good walk with the conditions.

The car park i parked in was by the first tee, there was a practice putting green and some nets to warm up i believe there is also a driving range but this wasn't open , i didn't get to see the pro shop.as there was no need there was a hut close to the first tee where tee offs where being managed from , you could get some drinks balls gloves chocolate etc there

Great course. But not a course for the winter. Leave it for the summer

Really enjoyed my round. Testing holes and a very good layout. The greens were in perfect condition but a bit to good for me. Would recommend it to play.

Very happy with course it’s in fantastic shape for this time of year, all greens open with no winter greens, everything looked fantastic and well looked after, very happy and worth the money for sure.

Course in great shape despite the season & weather. Always friendly and professional staff in the pro shop and on the course. A challenging but fair layout.

Course, as usual, was in fantastic condition. Normal tee boxes used, no winter mats. All greens open, perfect condition for this time of year and we even got some sun! Looking forward to the next round already.
