Marton Meadows Golf Course

My 2nd time here because I liked it the first time. It's a lovely place.

Both times here though, I couldn't get a cup of coffee because there was a private party in the restaurant.

Shame.

Otherwise, a lovely place to have an interesting round.

Nice little par 3 course. Good for practicing your iron work! Played as a 3 ball with high handicap and we all had a great game!

This is our local course. We go on a weekly basis and find it challenging enough as high handicappers without being stressed. Always good friendly staff! 👍

The tee boxes are in absolutely terrible condition, the fairways are equally appalling, and the greens are frankly shocking. I understand that weather can certainly play a factor, but when you can clearly see that the course isn't being properly maintained, it really does make the situation inexcusable.

As a newbie to the game, I started to play for mental health reasons and I have found this course fantastic. It's challenging enough for all skill levels. The greens are managed well and set in pleasant surroundings. The practice range is excellent. The staff are very friendly, they make you feel as though you have been going there for years. I cannot fault this place. I am a converted anti golfer. Thank you for helping me to stay sane.

A great mix of par 3 holes along with a short par 4 on the 9th. Bunkers located on most holes also makes it challenging.

Really enjoyed playing here. The greens all in top condition and fun to play. Would definitely recommend if looking to practice hitting irons and wedges

A great course for a beginner or a more experienced golfer looking to practice their short irons & putting.

Eight par 3 holes & 1 Par 4 gives plenty of opportunity to play a quick 18 holes on a great course. Greens were excellent considering how much rain we have had during the previous days and on the day itself.

Have hesitation in recommending

Excellent short course for some iron work practice. There I one par 4 that's the last hole other wise all par 3.

Our first time playing here. Really enjoyed the 18 holes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Course is well looked after and it’s set out really well.

This place is perfect for people starting out or improving their short game, the friendliness of the staff is second to none! They have all made my new to the game teenage son more than welcome and I have no issue in dropping him off to play knowing he is in a great place. Thanks to all at Marton.

Great little 9 hole, ideal for the short game practice.

Didn't realise it was a par 3 course at time of booking, my fault should've looked closer. That said it was quite challenging, the course was well looked after and in excellent condition. It's only a 9 hole course but we went round twice. Staff were very friendly and helpful as were the members. Food was really nice and very reasonably priced. Would definately go back.

First time visit, friendly welcome on arrival, all par 3 bar the 9th, but tricky all the way around, a 4 ball kindly let us 2 through, condition of course was very good, not a lover of playing off mats but they were so soft it wasn't a problem.

Certainly be coming back and would recommend,
