Course was in good condition and was very well set out but the pace of play was funerial

Over 2 and a half house to play 9 holes when we walked off

Played here a lot over the years it never disappoints.. brilliant amenities course always in great condition.. probably good idea to book a golf cart as quite hilly or it’s just that I’m getting older..!!

If you’re flexible you can pick up a round for a very reasonable price… but either way it’s well worth a visit..

Love this course- tough & hilly but very rewarding…

Played a twighlight round on a Monday evening. It was slow, but I was a 1 ball, with 4 balls ahead, so to be expected.

The greens looked poor but played really quite well.

It's short by yardage but plays a reasonable length. Long par 3s (in the wind), and position required off the tee on the short par 4s.

Having not played there before, I was caught out by blind tee shots on a couple of holes having hit "perfectly".

Approach to the 16 towards the hotel is lovely. Tee shot on 17 just stunning.

At £20 for 18 starting just after 5pm it is great value for money.

Would happily play again.

Had twilight tee time. Could not fault anything about course. After we finished went to club house and it was shut, was looking forward to a pint.

Will definitely play it again so we can complete all 18 holes.

This course is the most interesting course I have ever played, having to play around trees avoid water and bunkers hidden behind other bunkers in the fairways. beautifully set out with great scenery ,great putting practice area ,driving range etc.

Looking forward to playing again soon.

I am tempted to join this club for the summer after my round & experience this week! It was quiet & just great fun. A testing course with some great placement holes where driver would simply get you into more trouble. Very picturesque finishing the front 9 & towards the end of the round. Some great scenes & the hotel backdrop was amazing to see.

A challenge but a good fun one.

Recommend a lot especially during a quiet evening for a cheaper price!

After taking over 5 hrs to play (with buggies) due to a slow 4 ball in front of us, all we wanted was a few drinks and some food only to be told that last orders has been called. This was 6pm.

Greens were poor but not as bad as the tee boxes. Very uneven and patchy. Also had a 5 ball behind us. Used to be a great course to play, but wouldn’t recommend it now.

Enjoy the golf needs money spending on the course getting looking scuffey but enjoyed the game didn’t enjoy the shower after unmarked step going into the shower area went flying bruised ribs best put a signs up or remove the doors best do both or they may have a problem that may the owners lots-of money

A very testing course in the wind when we played . A great layout and easy to find your way around. Only negative was the fallout from the trees all over some of the greens, but to be expected due to the windy conditions.

The course was generally in a great condition. Greens are fast and a test with the slopes .

Would love to play there again in less windy conditions. Highly recommended for anyone to play who wants a good test of their game

The welcome golf course is a beautiful place to play golf pace of play was good

The weather had been dry previously to us playing so we found that the greens could have been watered more because they was really hard

Also they need to spend a bit more time on tee off area making them a bit more flat these extra touches would make it a fantastic course

Overall though really enjoyed it and good value for money

Tees were awful- so rutted you couldn’t find a flat place to stand. Greens were really disappointing. I have played many municipal courses in better condition. Won’t be going back.

First time out this year, as always course was good, greens were lightning fast or at least that was my excuse!!

Nice , just a bit slow , challenging if you stray !
