First time playing Oakridge. Enjoyed the layout and course. Was in good condition for time of year👍

A very nice course some great holes well looked after weather was nice it helped a lot the people who play golf there was great I’d go back next Saturday if the price is good. 10/10
This course was better than I expected.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Oakridge GC today, the course was is brilliant condition. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition which we enjoyed throughout our round! (Greens were very fast, which I loved)
Although, the course has some crazy elevations and also gets very windy and tricky to play in them windy conditions. P.s this is not a bad thing, I just didn’t expect this today. Definitely will come back soon to chase a better scoring round.
Overall, fantastic course for a great price. 👍
Considering the rainfall, good course!
It's been a wet winter but it basically hammered it down non stop for 48 hours prior to our mid morning tee off. They had temp mats and tees on almost every hole to protect tee boxes which is understandable in winter. The tee boxes all looked decent and flat so can imagine it's great in peak season. Was impressed to find all 18 greens were open and only 1 of them had surface water on a portion of it.
Definitely keen to come back in drier months and see how different the course plays.
Bit soggy but will be great in summer
Enjoyed the course layout, a bit wet underfoot and some of the greens were saturated but the weather has been pretty awful so was grateful to get out and play. The pace of play was sooo slow, got stuck behind a fourball who were never going to let me through which was a shame but kind of understandable given I was a single player. Make sure you check the course’s website before you book as trolleys were not allowed on the day I played and the GolfNow website didn’t have this info.
Roll on the summer months
Great Value.
Played 16/01/26, greens in excellent condition, some of the fairways a little boggy in patches but understand that is hard to manage/avoid. A really good challenge; back 9 feels a little kinder than the front.
Oakridge
Great course. Very rarely does a course present itself like the images on the internet. Oakridge was an exception. Course was immaculately manicured, from fairways to first cut to rough. Layout was challenging with sloped fairways, flat fairways and doglegs. Greens were a little slow but very consistent. Fantastic experience. Will definitely visit again.
Nice house and a good test
Ive played Oakridge many times and its in as good a nic as any time atm. Its always well looked after and has some lovely holes. Because of the length of some holes its always a good test for me but it has enough bale out options if you stray.
Its a busy course and can get a bit congested especially early on at the drivable par 4 4th but after that it tends to think out.
All in all a great track which I recommend.
Very busy
It was very busy which made all the tee off times bunched up. Apart from that we had a good round.
Lovely course with steady hills
Love the layout of the course and kept in nice condition. Will happily come back and play again
Good value for money
I have played this course at different times of the year and it’s always in decent condition. This time it was the summer and the greens were excellent. Fairways were slightly burned out but exactly what you’d expect this time of year. We paid £35 for a Sunday morning which wasn’t too bad, can get it for a lot cheaper twilight. Overall good place to go but does get quite wet in the winter.
Good condition despite the dry conditions
The course was in good condition despite the dry conditions of late, greens are well taken care of, watered etc.
I find the course a fair test good shots get rewarded and bad ones punished. I would recommend this course for all levels of golfer, but just beware we have played this before and it can get very wet, quite quickly if the weather does not behave.
We didn't use the clubhouse so cannot comment on the food etc.

Watch out for the gremlins on the back 9 stealing balls! Would hit some shots off the tee dead cench on the fairway and go missing some how.
Greens
The greens are in very good condition with all this hot weather we are having. Big up to the ground keeprs,
They are running fast loved it .and the fear ways are well maintained.
