Fantastic course in great condition,friendly staff and highly recommended.Great value also at £20 for a midweek round in the summer via Golfnow.
Challenging course at times,lovely layout and nice facilities. 5 stars from me *****
Very nice golf course you have to keep focused as there is back drops at the back of some greens, greens was a bit slow but they have kept them like that due to the hot weather still nice tho no burnt greens and still with nice slope's to read 👍
Saturday golf
A sunny day to play golf. Course was in good condition but was very repetitive. I’m sure we played the same hole several times!
Just up and down , up and down
Second time we have played this course
Course still wet in parts however played well considering conditions. Like the design of the course variation of holes unusual for 12th hole to finish by the clubhouse.
Greens were a bit woolly but again recent weather has been poor.
Good value for money bit disappointing the bar closed early and the coffee machine didn’t work..
Oakridge
The course was very wet hence the reason why we carried our clubs perhaps the course should have been closed.
Would like to play again when drier as the holes over the bridge were too wet to play. so we played loops of 9 holes twice.
Greens considering conditions were good staff all friendly lets hope we can play again when it stops raining.
Nice nice … really nice
The course is really good. Nice layout and well presented on the day.
Eventful
Turned up to play got the go ahead from the club pro about to tee off and some ginge came storming down to the tee telling we can’t tee off as there’s a comp on. Turns out there were three more groups that were coming through on the comp. The same ginge then decided to kick off on a group of Gurkhas and the club pro all while he was moaning this is why I’m leaving this club.
Apart from that it’s a decent course
Winter golf
I really like Oakridge as a summer course but do not like the temporary tees in winter. Temp tee boxes are ok but to have tees just plonked on uneven and uncut grass is not really acceptable in my view.
Looking forward to spring/summer when we shall return.
Round at oakridge
Good course although long, especially as we had to carry our clubs due to the wet conditions of the course.
Would be very happy to return again.
