Oakridge Golf Club

The course is really good. Nice layout and well presented on the day.

Turned up to play got the go ahead from the club pro about to tee off and some ginge came storming down to the tee telling we can’t tee off as there’s a comp on. Turns out there were three more groups that were coming through on the comp. The same ginge then decided to kick off on a group of Gurkhas and the club pro all while he was moaning this is why I’m leaving this club.

Apart from that it’s a decent course

I really like Oakridge as a summer course but do not like the temporary tees in winter. Temp tee boxes are ok but to have tees just plonked on uneven and uncut grass is not really acceptable in my view.

Looking forward to spring/summer when we shall return.

Good course although long, especially as we had to carry our clubs due to the wet conditions of the course.

Would be very happy to return again.

Course was very wet. When we arrived we were told no trollies which was a pain as we both had trolley bags. Would have been nice if this information was displayed on their website or social media.

On nearly all the holes there were temp tees. Some proper winter mats, but a lot just placed on the fairway ahead of the proper tee boxes.

Course is playing long with some testing par 4s so a boggie was a good score on some holes.

Course was very wet and soggy in places but that can't be helped.

Hit my best ever round of 81 after a birdie on hole 1.. but the course hit me as I'm not a massive hitter of the tee 220 max on a good day, but my chipping and 1 putts got me out of jail at lot of holes.

Would love to play it on a summers day and give it a real good shot, Highly recommended course and you can get a round on golf now for £21

Good on course conditions but greens were slow and bumpy

Played with my son for his birthday, he loved it and will definitely be returning. Course in great condition - greens and fairways brilliant. Great challenging course - would recommend.

Have played here a few times and always enjoyed it.

Weather was ideal and much needed recent rainfall has left the course in pristine condition.

Green keepers are doing a superb job here. Well manicured from tee to the true but not too quick greens.

We normally play twilight and clubhouse usually closed by time we finish, but this time we played in the afternoon and popped in for a quick pint. To say that the members inside were welcoming to us visitors would be an inaccuracy. We did not however let this spoil what had been a very enjoyable round of golf.

Good course that played well, with good greens and bunkers.

Lovely course to play, greens in great condition and friendly members! looking forward to coming back.

Greens in best condition I've seen after playing this course half a dozen times over the last few years. Course was quiet for a 1pm teetime so virtually had the course to ourselves

This is a great course to test your skills. It’s a tactical course where you need to plan your way around it.

Fairways not great, but given weather nonsurprise. Greens were slow but good condition. Very good value, some interesting holes. Make sure you don't hook your 1st tee shot...
