Great course
The course had some great long and short holes with plenty of hidden hazards to manoeuvre around. Weather wasn’t great when we played so will definitely be going back.
Course review
Nice course, however holes 6 to 11 are just too close together up and down. Fairways are too narrow and to be honest dangerous we nearly got hit twice by way wood tee shots coming the other way. Holes 13 to 18 are great with much more room.
Rate of play was really slow over 4 hours for a two ball waiting on every tee due to three really slow 4 balls. Marshal should be out letting groups through
Bar area was nice and reasonable priced.
Overall overpriced at £28
Very enjoyable course
I had heard good things about this course, and this was the 1st time that I was able to play at Oakridge, I very much enjoyed my 1st outing at Oakridge, I don't think it will be my last, some holes were challenging, greens were good
Disappointed
The greens were shocking for the money . In fact the whole course is just not maintained. For 25 pounds was the worse course ide ever played
Difficult first time
A good course with some interesting holes but would be easier the next time you play due to some hazards not easily viewed from the fairway.
Best value course in the area
I got the hot deal fo £20. The course is in great condition. It’s one of the better ones in that Area along with Atherstone. It’s usually £25 so if you see the deal take it.
A good challenge!
Overall pretty pleased with this course, condition of the course was well maintained with some good challenging holes. Friendly bar staff and a course worth playing....
This course is a wee diamond in the rough , great condition and scenery is brilliant . Defo be letting friends know about this course . I am a scotsman that is from the west coast of Scotland so played some cracking courses and have to say this course is up there , will be playing it again soon .
disapointed
could not believe a course of this standard only had 2 (out of 4) buggies in working order. I am 74years old and usually enjoy my golf. This course is hilly, some of them quite steep. and for someone with arthritis was quite painful and spoilt the day .I could obviously see it was a great course, but you cant play well in pain. I would recommend a friend if they were fully fit.
Nice Knock
Enjoyable round on a nice course. Let down by a member who threw my playing partner’s ball in a pond for apparently not shouting fore.
Staff and other members were very welcoming.
very enjoyable course
enough hazards to make it challenging and open enough that it was forgiving as someone new to golf only playing for 18 months it was one of the better corses I have played
