disapointed
could not believe a course of this standard only had 2 (out of 4) buggies in working order. I am 74years old and usually enjoy my golf. This course is hilly, some of them quite steep. and for someone with arthritis was quite painful and spoilt the day .I could obviously see it was a great course, but you cant play well in pain. I would recommend a friend if they were fully fit.
Nice Knock
Enjoyable round on a nice course. Let down by a member who threw my playing partner’s ball in a pond for apparently not shouting fore.
Staff and other members were very welcoming.
very enjoyable course
enough hazards to make it challenging and open enough that it was forgiving as someone new to golf only playing for 18 months it was one of the better corses I have played
Nice little course
Worth £20 if you get a deal.
Pros greens good, fairways good.
Cons. Bunkers terrible not much sand and weeds growing in them.
A proper challenge.
From the 1st to the last theres a great mix of good looking holes. Short and long par4' and ,interestingly placed hazards.
Greens fast and true.
Tee boxes lack a bit of love
Definitely a course yo recommend and that I'll return too
Oakridge golf course
Great entrance to the course and the first tee gives a great impression. Would definitely play again.
A must try..
A course in excellent condition, with friendly staff for when you get back. Can be quite hilly in places, and quite a challenge for the higher handicappers, but still a must try for
Fab course
This is the best course I’ve played this summer .ive played at a variety of courses in Derbyshire and Leicestershire and the tees , fairways and greens were second to none .
Highly recommended
Very nice course
Haven’t played here for a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Fairways and greens in very good condition. The only thing that lets the course down, and this is a problem that existed when I was a member here are the bunkers. The majority are in very poor condition. Sort them out and the course will be perfect. Overall though a very pleasant golfing experience.
Oak ridge
Have visited this course a couple of times before and enjoy the layout very much. However I found the tees were a bit unkempt and needed some tlc. Fairways were lovely and greens looked great but rolled slow.. overall great value for money on GolfNow app. Off course facilities were disappointing as no food available as there was a wedding on the next day. Would come though.
Oakridge Golf Course
Had a round of golf at this course on Sunday and I just have to say what a lovely course. The condition of the fairways and greens was very good for this time of year and a credit to the ground staff. The pace of play was very good for a Sunday morning and the members were friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes a challenge and I will definitely be coming back
A course of two halves
Interesting course of two halves with up and down fairways, slopping lies, dog legs. Flatter back half still with dog legs good practice for fade and draw shots. Plenty of trees around course, grass cut perfectly. Greens and tee's very good.
Oakridge bargain
Quality value for money with some of the best greens I’ve putted on all summer. Course in great condition and excellent speed of play. Thanks for a great round of golf.
