A good course for beginners
Good value for money greens were in very good condition
Golf
Winter golf courses tend to be a bit wet and boggy but this course is not too bad.
Parley Golf course in winter
Definitely worth playing in january. There are some roped off areas but no we did not experience any temporary greens or tees.
Nice course but can be very slow
Nice course but can be very slow due to 9 hole but 18 tee points.great price and friendly staff makes up for it
Lovely fsy
The course has a completely new layout since I last visited. It is much longer.
It was a lovely day and after a long dry spell was very parched. The greens are excellent despite this. My only complaint is that the rough is knee high and you are either on the fairway or potentially lose your ball. The plus side is you find a lot while looking for your own. lol.
The different tee positions for each 9 make it interesting but some pointers as to which way to walk to next tee as you leave the green would be helpful. We got lost a couple of times!
Overall a good day.
Fareway and greens
Fareway and greens are in a good condition. The edge of the fareways and into the rough is very long and impossible to find your ball if you are unfortunate to land land in it.
Not so bad!
Despite the initial lack of signs indicating which direction we would find the 1st tee, and the 1st temporary green that hadn't even been cleared of the light snow, despite it being the only area on the 1st hole that had any snow at all, the course slowly showed it's potential as having some great potential as a bit of an easy and leisurely round just for the fun of it. It has definite potential for those days when a mixed ability group can all get something out of their round. Not sure how the normal green fees could be justified against the more professionally established and challenging local competitiive options though.
